The Alpina Gstaad
Touchez une étoile pour noter
The Alpina opened in 2012 as Gstaad's first serious luxury hotel in over a hundred years, which says something about both the resort's history and how selective it is. The design is contemporary Alpine, clean lines, lots of natural wood, spa-grade minimalism, with Six Senses handling the spa and wellness side. It's new enough to have modern event infrastructure without feeling impersonal.
This fits couples who like the Gstaad name and energy (high-altitude chic, polo, horse shows) but don't want to patch together their wedding across multiple older properties. The hotel can host everything in one place and has the infrastructure for both intimate dinners and larger receptions. You'll pay for that convenience and the relatively recent reputation.
