The Desi-Ree studio in Uetliburg works as a diploma-qualified makeup and hair artist, and the bridal makeup is built around an airbrush application. The trial covers both hair and makeup and runs about two hours, with the recommendation to book it roughly four to eight weeks before the wedding. The trial is photographed so the agreed look can be matched exactly on the day.

The studio handles the wider wedding party, not just the bride: makeup for a maid of honour or a mother can be added at the same location, there is light makeup for the groom to even out skin and cover blemishes, and a restyle between the ceremony and the evening is possible. Bookings range from individual bridal makeup or hair through to fuller packages that combine both with extra people.
