Marquees and Tents
A marquee is how you hold a wedding somewhere that has no room big enough, and in Switzerland that is most of the beautiful places. The suppliers here rent stretch tents, pole marquees, transparent structures and orangery-style pavilions, usually with flooring, lighting, heating and sometimes furniture as a package. Alpine ground and alpine weather make this more technical than it looks: anchoring on rock, snow load out of season, and a wind rating that matters above a certain altitude. Ask what the quote includes beyond the canvas, how many days the site is occupied for build and strike, and who holds the permits.
