"Residences" is half of this hotel's own name, but its About Us page defines that word narrowly: several private residences, spread across 3 separate buildings, privately owned rather than sold as hotel inventory, though their owners still draw on hotel services such as room service and housekeeping. A wedding party cannot book one of those directly; they belong to whoever bought them. What a wedding party can actually rent, if it wants an apartment rather than a room, is a different, hotel-run product with its own name: the Appartements-Suites, reserved the same way a room is, through the hotel's own booking line rather than owned by whoever is staying there.

The property opened in December 2009. In 2014 the owners, Nati and Giancarlo Felli, added 3 more buildings, 2 built as private residences and a third for what the site calls "hotel suites of the highest quality." That expansion is the reason a residential half exists next to the hotel at all, and it is also why the hotel's own bookable apartment product reads as a purpose-built line, not a handful of rooms knocked together after the fact.

6 apartments at 225 square meters, and 2 that connect into one floor

Each of the 6 Appartements-Suites spans 225 square meters plus an 85 square meter terrace, and sleeps up to 6 guests across up to 3 bedrooms, every one with its own en-suite bathroom. The layout keeps the best views for the people sleeping there longest: the Chambre Parentale has a walk-in dressing room and a south-facing terrace, the second bedroom also faces south, and the third looks out over Crans-Montana's older chalets rather than the golf course. Bulgari toiletries are stocked in every bathroom.

The dining room seats 6 around one table next to a stocked wine cellar, and the living room opens onto that private terrace, its own table for 6 and a set of loungers. Book 2 connected apartment-suites on the same floor and the site describes the result plainly as one unit for a large family: 6 bedrooms under one roof, but with 2 separate living rooms, 2 kitchens and 2 entrances rather than a single shared one. For a wedding splitting two branches of a family, or housing both sets of parents, that is a way to keep everyone on the same floor without folding them into each other's space, a different proposition from a hotel simply blocking a run of adjoining standard doors.

A kitchen with its own service entrance, and housekeeping twice a day

Every apartment's kitchen has a service entrance built specifically so room service or a private chef can come and go without crossing the living room, alongside a full-size fridge with an ice maker and freezer, a dishwasher, an oven, a coffee machine and a full set of dishware. Included as standard: breakfast, housekeeping twice a day, a luggage service, valet parking, access to a private lounge, ski and golf storage, shoe shine, private transfers within Crans-Montana, a non-alcoholic minibar, wifi, taxes and service. On request rather than included: a private chef or server, home grocery shopping so the fridge is stocked before anyone arrives, laundry, and airport transfers.

The discretion built into the layout matters for a wedding party that would rather not run into other hotel guests between the ceremony and the first dance: arrival is through the underground parking with its own separate elevator up to the apartment, and check-in happens inside the apartment's own living room rather than at a front desk. No published rate on any of it, apartments included

Nothing on the site prices a night in an apartment-suite, a wedding reception or a full-hotel buyout. What the "Residences" half of the name actually gets a couple is not a private residence at all, since those stay privately owned. What it gets them is a hotel that has built its own apartment product formal enough to have its own contact, its own factsheet and a floor-privatization option, a genuinely different way to house a multi-generational wedding party than blocking off a run of standard doubles.
