Bürgenstock Resort

The Bürgenstock Resort covers more than 60 hectares above Lake Lucerne at Obbürgen, with the lake and the Alps in view across the whole site. The historic Hammetschwand Lift connects the resort to the cliff walk below, and the property is large enough to hold a wedding party across several days rather than a single afternoon.

Guests are spread across several hotels on the ridge, including the Bürgenstock Hotel & Alpine Spa with its heritage and contemporary wings, the Waldhotel by Bürgenstock, the Taverne 1879 and the Residence Suites. Dining runs through seven restaurants on the grounds, among them Spices Kitchen & Terrace, the Oak Grill & Pool Patio and Verbena, so catering can stay in-house. Between the Alpine Spa, an alpine golf course and tennis under the Diamond Domes, there is plenty to keep a multi-day guest list occupied around the celebration itself.
