Bartender On Duty runs from Thalwil and offers three ways to set up the drinks at a wedding. The first is a fully staffed cocktail service where they handle everything, the second is delivery of cocktail barrels that guests tap themselves with no bartender on site, and the third is placing freelance bartenders with businesses. Their portable bars come in a few sizes, from a small table-top unit around a metre wide up to a counter of about three metres, and they run without any electricity or water connection.

The drinks list usually holds three to five cocktails chosen for the event, built with syrups and infused spirits the team makes in-house. They bring the lot themselves: the spirits, the glassware, the garnishes and the bartender. The website is available in English and German, and they work across Switzerland as well as Germany and Austria.
