Kartause Ittingen

Kartause Ittingen is a former Carthusian monastery at Warth in Thurgau, and the old cloisters and gardens still set the tone for a wedding here. Outdoor ceremonies are held among the apple orchard, where the grounds carry roughly 150 apple trees; the orchard seats about 60 guests on simple benches, with the neighbouring meadow bookable for larger groups under the same view.

Catering is in-house, with the estate's own restaurant and bar handling the meal, and there are guest rooms on site so the party can stay over. The grounds also hold museums and a shop, which gives guests something to wander to between the ceremony and the dinner. The site runs in German and English.
