Schloss Lenzburg

Lenzburg Castle sits on a hilltop above the town of Lenzburg in Aargau and operates as one of Switzerland's few active castles where civil weddings can legally take place, which removes the need for a separate civil ceremony elsewhere. Couples use the courtyard for aperitifs, the baroque gardens for photographs, and the Great Hall for the banquet.

Five authorised caterers are available to choose from, and the castle organises a supervised children's programme (CHF 60 per hour) from 5pm onwards, which covers younger guests while the adults settle in for dinner. Guided tours of the castle's history can be built into the day for international guests.
