Schloss Spiez

Schloss Spiez sits above the lake amid vineyard slopes, and the Romanesque church at its core is one of the more unusual ceremony spaces in Switzerland, decorated with original frescoes and in use for services since the medieval period. The castle holds a Swiss Location Award (2022 and 2023, scoring 9.1 out of 10) specifically for its wedding venue quality.

Civil weddings are licensed for up to twelve dates per year at the Neuschloss, accommodating up to 30 guests for the ceremony. The castle church is available for symbolic and religious ceremonies for up to 130 guests, and outdoor park ceremonies suit parties up to 60. The season runs May through October.
