Fotoman

Fotoman runs a mobile wooden photo box from a studio on Steinenbachgaesslein in Basel, with four recording modes: photo, video, GIF and boomerang. A red buzzer triggers the photo function, while video, GIF and boomerang are started from the booth's screen. The printer turns out 10x15 cm prints within seconds, and guests can either take their print home or glue it into a photo album on the spot and add a comment. Each shot also loads to a cloud gallery that guests reach by QR code during the event, and a download link stays live for 30 days afterwards.

Packages run from a basic digital-only setup up to a Pro option that bundles 700 prints, a creative dress-up set, a backdrop system and a photo album with glue and stationery. A Fotoman staffer can look after the booth, and personal templates are available for single photos or collages. The wooden box needs a power socket nearby and at least 4 by 2.5 metres of floor space; it is not built for outdoor use unless it is sheltered from the weather.
