Die Zuckerbäckerin is Katharina Steiner's dessert studio on Maihofstrasse in Lucerne. Trained as both a confectioner and a textile designer, she makes wedding cakes alongside party cakes, mini desserts and cupcake towers, with the emphasis on handwork and a clean, considered finish.
Steiner works with seasonal ingredients, preferably from local farms, and favours organic, fair-trade, regional and Swiss products with natural flavourings. The website is in German.
