Agnes Wyss Blumen Manufaktur

Tap a star to rate

Agnes Wyss Blumen Manufaktur is a florist's workshop in Spiez, run by Agnes Wyss. Her site says plainly that it is "kein gewöhnliches Blumengeschäft", not an ordinary flower shop: she makes everything to order, and her wedding page lists the bridal bouquet, the groom's buttonhole, hair wreaths, a ring cushion, church and chapel decoration, table decoration and car decoration. She works from her atelier in Spiez and, in her own words, delivers to the whole of Switzerland.

Who makes the flowers

The About page is short and personal, written by Agnes Wyss in the first person and signed by her. It opens with a line she uses as a motto: "«Und wenn du keine Worte findest, dann sag es mit Blumen.»" (And when you cannot find the words, say it with flowers.)

On her training she writes "Gelernt habe ich von den Besten", I learned from the best, naming among them "Floristik-Star Gregor Lersch", the well-known florist. She says she now combines the traditional craft of demanding floristry with modern elements such as wire mesh structures (Drahtgeflechte). The past workshops on her course page show the same interest, with a wire ball with a ring of flowers or winter greenery, and even a wire chicken for Easter.

She describes the range of her work as both small floral gifts and larger decoration concepts, and says it matters to her to respond to each client's personal wishes, so that every arrangement and bouquet is a one-off made for a particular occasion, or a decorative element fitted into a room.

The wedding offer

The wedding page is headed "Für eine magische Stimmung" (for an enchanted mood). Its short text runs through where her flowers appear on the day: as the bouquet in the bride's hands, as wreaths in the bridesmaids' hair, as delicate decoration in the chapel and as table decoration in the banquet hall. The list of wedding items is:

  • Brautstrauss (bridal bouquet)
  • Anstecker für Bräutigam (the groom's buttonhole)
  • Haarkränze (hair wreaths)
  • Ringkissen (ring cushion)
  • Kirchendekoration, Kapellendekoration (church and chapel decoration)
  • Tischdekoration (table decoration)
  • Autoschmuck (car decoration)

With the ring cushion and buttonhole on the list, the small ceremony details can come from the same hand as the bouquet.

The page says the design is worked out together: "In einem gemeinsamen Gespräch finden wir deine eigene und einzigartige Kreation für den schönsten Tag in deinem Leben." In English: in a conversation together we will find your own, unique creation for the most beautiful day of your life. There is no set menu of wedding packages on the page. Under a heading about finding the right thing together, there is a short message form (name, email address, message), and the wedding page also has a gallery of pictures (Impressionen).

Where she works and how to reach her

The address on every page is Agnes Wyss Blumen Manufaktur, Oberlandstrasse 23, 3700 Spiez, with the telephone number +41 79 286 18 79 and the email info@agneswyss.ch. The course page explains that she has moved her premises to Oberlandstrasse 23; the list of past workshops still shows the previous address, Lärchenweg 2 in Spiez.

The About page states: "Ich arbeite in meinem Atelier in Spiez und liefere in die ganze Schweiz." (I work in my atelier in Spiez and deliver to the whole of Switzerland.) For a couple marrying elsewhere in the country, that is the key line. The page does not say how delivery to a distant venue is priced, or whether she also sets up decorations on site outside the Spiez area.

The site navigation shows other parts of the business: a webshop, a flower subscription (Blumenabo), a shop in Spiez labeled 24/7 Laden Spiez, a market stand in Thun (Märitstand Thun), seasonal sections for Valentine's Day, Easter, Christmas and funerals, and a newsletter. Payment by Twint is shown on every page, and the site links to its general terms (AGB).

Courses

Agnes Wyss also teaches. The course page says she brings her craft closer to participants and gives practical tips. Because of the move to Oberlandstrasse 23, no courses were held in the spring; new courses in smaller groups of 6 people are planned from fall or winter 2026, with dates to be posted once known. Past workshops ran from February to November and were largely seasonal: a dried-flower wreath in pink, an Easter arrangement, long Easter table decorations, a hydrangea wreath, Advent wreaths and Christmas pieces.

She also offers individual courses: the page invites anyone who wants to learn something specific, or who wants an exclusive course for themselves and friends, to send a message. For a bride and her friends, a private course before the wedding could be a way to spend an afternoon together, though the page does not mention bachelorette parties or wedding groups specifically.

What the site does not settle

The site publishes no prices for wedding flowers, and no packages or minimum order. It gives no lead time for booking a wedding, no deposit rule and no cancellation terms; the site links to its AGB, but the terms themselves are not set out on the wedding page.

The whole site is in German and it addresses clients informally, as "du". Nothing on it says whether Agnes Wyss works in English. A couple from abroad can use the form or email, but should ask about language in the first message.

The delivery promise covers all of Switzerland, but the site does not say what that involves for a wedding far from Spiez: whether she travels to decorate a church or hall herself, what that adds to the cost, or how flowers are transported. The site names no past wedding venues, so a couple who want to see a wedding similar to their own should ask.

Who it suits

Agnes Wyss suits a couple who want wedding flowers made to order by one florist, with personal contact from the first message, and who like a craft-led style with some modern structure to it. Couples marrying around Spiez and Thun are closest to her base; couples elsewhere in Switzerland can still ask, given her statement that she delivers nationwide.

It suits less well a couple who want a fixed package and a price before they write, or who need an English-speaking florist confirmed in advance. Neither is on the site. The one practical step the page asks for is a conversation, and that is where to start.
