Mountain Wedding Venues

A mountain venue puts real altitude into the day rather than just a valley view of the peaks: reached by cable car or cog railway, a terrace above the treeline, occasionally still carrying snow patches on a June wedding date. Getting a full guest list up there takes more planning than a valley venue does, a cabin timetable to work around, a headcount the top station itself may cap, evening dresses and dinner jackets in ski-resort wind. Cloud can close in fast at height even when the valley stays clear, so ask what happens to the ceremony and the photographs if the peak socks in on the day, and how late the last cabin down actually runs.
