Wedding DJs
A wedding DJ here is reading a room that is rarely all one nationality and rarely all one generation, building a set that moves from dinner background music through the first dance into a dance floor built to peak before the venue's cutoff rather than after it. Equipment varies a good deal between operators: some bring a full PA, lighting rig and a backup laptop, others expect the venue's own system and only supply the music and the mixing. A few also run the ceremony sound and the speeches through the same equipment, worth asking about if you want one supplier for the whole day. Check what is included in the quote, how far ahead they take song requests, and whether they have worked your venue before.
