Vineyard Wedding Venues

A vineyard venue puts the wedding among working vines, in a domaine's courtyard, a cellar hall between the barrels, or a terrace cut into the slope itself, with the harvest calendar shaping what the place looks like on your date. Most pour their own wine at the reception, some only their own, and a few will build a tasting into the day for guests. Because the estate is a business first, weddings often run around the picking season, so a September date can mean tractors working the rows outside your window. Ask whether the winery's own wine is included or charged separately, and what happens to an outdoor ceremony if it rains on the vines.
