Wedding Caterers on Lake Geneva
This is French Switzerland's traiteur tradition at its busiest, caterers used to working the vineyard terraces of the Lavaux and the lakefront gardens of Geneva and Lausanne, where a proper kitchen often does not exist on site. Wine pairing gets real attention here given the surrounding vineyards, and several caterers will build a menu around a specific domaine's bottles if asked. Expect quotes per head with staff, hire and drinks broken out separately, as elsewhere in Switzerland, but also expect French as the default working language even in Geneva's more international venues.
