Bloomville is the wedding floristry business of Eva Frenkel, who introduces herself as "eure Wedding Floral Designerin für exklusive Hochzeiten in Zürich, Luzern & der gesamten Schweiz", a wedding floral designer for exclusive weddings in Zurich, Lucerne and the whole of Switzerland. She works only on weddings, designs whole spaces rather than single pieces, and offers three named concepts. She is also unusually frank about who she is not for. For a couple who want flowers to shape the look of the whole venue, and who are happy to hand the decisions to a designer, its site explains the approach, the concepts and the process in unusual detail.

Her approach

The About section sets out the idea behind the business. She designs weddings where flowers play a leading role, "Nicht als Dekoration, sondern als Teil der Atmosphäre", not as decoration but as part of the atmosphere. Her work is aimed at couples "die Gestaltung ernst nehmen und Verantwortung abgeben möchten", who take design seriously and want to hand over responsibility. She plans, coordinates and carries out the work so that everything comes together on the wedding day.

A section on how she sees wedding floristry today explains the history. She says she grew up with classic weddings, with a lot of white, clear rules and little risk, and learned how to make pretty wedding flowers. Over time she noticed that not every couple fits that picture and not every venue works with restraint. Today, she writes, she uses flowers to show character, with color, structure and deliberate choices. She does not follow every trend. She listens, looks at the rooms and then decides what really fits.

Then the boundary, set in its own heading and repeated in the text: "Wenn ihr eine klassische oder rein weisse Hochzeit sucht, bin ich nicht die Richtige." If you are looking for a classic or pure white wedding, I am not the right person. That is useful to know before writing.

How she works

Her method starts with the venue: "Am Anfang steht die Location." Its proportions, its effect and its limits come first, and from them she develops the overall picture. She says flowers are not an accessory in her work ("Blumen sind bei mir kein Beiwerk") but have a job to do, and that she thinks "in Räumen, nicht in Einzelstücken", in rooms, not in single pieces. Color is a tool rather than an effect: it connects areas, directs the eye and carries the flow of the day. Flowers can go anywhere, on the floor, up high, in the background or at the center, and she says she uses that deliberately.

A section on common problems describes what she sets out to fix. Many couples have good ideas, but they stay loose; flowers are pretty but do not take up the room; colors work one by one but not together; and often nobody is making decisions and holding the thread. The line she ends on is "Am Ende erinnern sich Gäste nicht an jede Blume. Aber an das Gefühl, als sie den Raum betreten haben." In the end, guests do not remember every flower, but they remember how it felt to walk into the room.

The three concepts

Bloom Signature is for couples who want "ein stimmiges florales Konzept", a coherent floral concept that concentrates on the most important elements. She places arrangements deliberately at the ceremony, on the tables and in selected parts of the room, each matched to the venue, the running order and the season. The page calls it ideal for small to medium weddings that want structure, impact and volume while staying focused on the essentials.

Bloom Deluxe is for couples who want every high point of the day to stand out. She designs the entrance, the ceremony, the dinner and the main lines of the room, so that each moment feels staged, with arrangements placed to draw attention, set accents and structure the day.

Bloom Experience is for couples who want to transform the whole venue. Design runs through every space, from the entrance through the ceremony and dinner to the dance floor; no area stands alone. The page describes it as a complete, continuous staging with a clear signature.

No prices are given for any of the three.

Venues she has worked at

The site lists the locations where she has already designed weddings: Schlössli Utenberg in Lucerne, Baur au Lac, JED Events, Kongresshaus, Hotel Belvoir, Kunsthaus and Lake Side in Zurich, Appenzeller Huus in St. Gallen, and St.Charles Hall in Meggen near Lucerne. For a couple already booked at one of these, that is a strong reason to get in touch.

Process, timing and the consultation

The process has three steps. First, a transparent preliminary conversation to get to know each other and talk about wishes and ideas. Second, if it feels right, a consultation that goes into detail on mood, colors and the moments that matter, followed by an offer. Third, a binding booking, after which, she writes, the couple can lean back while she accompanies them to the day.

The site offers the first consultation free: one of its buttons reads "kostenloses Beratungsgespräch vereinbaren", book a free consultation. Its FAQ says a consultation is essential, so that couples understand what they are investing in and what is possible, and that couples do not need to have chosen colors or flowers beforehand. Details are then decided together in a design call, with the venue as the main factor. She also says that key information and pictures of the venue are enough for her to design for every area of the wedding, which helps a couple planning from abroad.

On timing, the FAQ is specific: "Am besten plant ihr 9-12 Monate vor eurem Hochzeitstag ein." Plan 9 to 12 months ahead. Depending on the size of the celebration, 6 months can also work, but in high season the earlier date secures the preferred day.

Contact

The site lists the phone number +41 76 297 94 83, the email contact@bloomville-weddings.ch, WhatsApp and Instagram. The site also carries short testimonials from couples identified by first names or initials.

What the site does not settle

The site publishes no prices for any concept and no example budgets. It does not spell out exactly which pieces each concept includes, how the concepts scale with guest numbers, or what travel beyond Zurich and Lucerne adds.

The site is in German, and it does not say whether Eva works in English. Couples from abroad should ask in the first message; the free consultation is the natural place to settle it.

Who it suits

Bloomville suits a couple who want a designer to take charge of the floral look of the whole venue, who like color and character, and who can plan 9 to 12 months out. Couples marrying at one of the venues she lists have a head start.

It does not suit a couple who want a classic or all-white wedding, by her own statement, nor one who wants a fixed price list before the first conversation.
