BlütenMeer

Tap a star to rate

BlütenMeer is a florist with three shops in the canton of Aargau, in Brugg, Frick and Baden. Wedding flowers have their own page on the site, headed "ja, ich will" (yes, I do), and the business has set out a clear process for how a wedding inquiry turns into a plan. It suits couples who want a structured path from first contact to the consultation, and who are marrying somewhere in reach of those three towns.

How a wedding booking works

The wedding page describes four steps and says the process was kept deliberately simple.

Step 1, the inquiry. Couples start by telling the shop whether they have in mind a small civil wedding with close family or a larger celebration with everyone they love. That first message lets BlütenMeer reserve the wedding date. The page links straight to a no-obligation inquiry.

Step 2, personal contact. A personal florist, who is the couple's named contact from then on, gets in touch to take the next step. For small civil weddings, the page says the shop prefers to handle everything personally at this point, simply and directly. Wedding celebrations and larger civil weddings move on to step 3.

Step 3, the consultation. A larger wedding needs careful planning, and the page says that experience has taught the team a consultation only makes sense once the couple has seen their venue. Couples are asked to get in touch as soon as the venue viewing is scheduled, or once it has happened, so that a consultation date can be set.

Step 4, the login. Once a consultation date is agreed, the couple receives an access code for a protected area of the site with tips for wedding planning and information about the consultation. The page says everything else is explained there.

For a couple planning from abroad, this structure is helpful. The date can be held from the first message, and the consultation is timed to a point when the couple already knows the space, which fits a planning trip built around venue viewings.

Questions the page raises

Below the steps, the page lists frequently asked questions: what a wedding costs and why there are no fixed packages, why a bridal bouquet costs more than an ordinary bouquet, whether the wedding consultation costs anything, why a couple should choose BlütenMeer, and when a couple should ideally get in touch. The wording of the first question makes it clear that the shop does not sell fixed wedding packages, and the second acknowledges that a bridal bouquet is priced above a normal bouquet. The page text does not print the answers themselves, so the cost of the consultation and the ideal lead time are questions to put to the florist directly.

Flowers, style and the team

The Blumen + Handwerk page explains where the flowers come from. All year round, the shop buys fresh cut flowers from its flower wholesaler in Holland, and in the summer half of the year it adds seasonal flowers from Switzerland. For a wedding between spring and autumn, that means local seasonal flowers are part of what is available.

The same page describes the craft as making dreams visible, with creativity, patience and an eye for detail, and says every creation is handmade and one of a kind.

The events page adds more about the team and how it works. It describes a young team with a lot of experience with flowers, confident in style and aware of trends, and says colors, shapes and flowers are matched to the venue, occasion and style, from minimalist to opulent and from wild to elegant. It names stages, reception areas, tables, lounges and outdoor spots as places where flowers draw attention. For events, the shop advises, plans, delivers, decorates and collects everything again afterwards, so that the hosts can look after their guests rather than the vases.

Hire items and delivery

The events page lists hire material with prices: floor vases at CHF 5 each, assorted small vases at CHF 1 each, tea lights at CHF 1 each and columns at CHF 20 each. When BlütenMeer does the decoration on site itself, it charges no hire fees for this material, as long as it is used normally and not badly soiled. The page presents this for events in general; whether it applies in the same way to a wedding is worth confirming.

The contact page gives delivery charges of CHF 9 and CHF 16 for two delivery zones and says the shop will also deliver outside those zones on request.

Shops, hours and contact

The three shops are at Hauptstrasse 20 in Brugg (078 411 70 63), Hauptstrasse 59 in Frick (077 407 42 46) and Weite Gasse 10 in Baden (077 442 49 06). The shared email address is kontakt@blueten-meer.ch.

The published opening hours are the same for all three: closed on Monday, Tuesday to Friday 9 to 12.30 and 13.30 to 18.30, Saturday 9 to 16, and closed on Sunday. The site notes that current hours are always on Google.

The contact form asks which branch the message is for (or all three) and how the shop should reply: by phone, by callback, by WhatsApp or by email. For someone in another time zone, the WhatsApp and email options are the practical ones.

What the site does not settle

The site is in German, and it does not say whether the florists work in English. Couples who do not speak German should ask in their first inquiry.

There are no wedding prices on the page. It does not say whether the consultation is free, how far the team will travel for a wedding, or what the delivery charges are for venues outside the two zones. The planning tips and the details of the consultation sit in the protected area, which opens only after a consultation date has been set.

Who it suits

BlütenMeer suits couples marrying in the Brugg, Frick or Baden area who like a clear, step-by-step process and want one named florist throughout. It works particularly well for small civil weddings, which the shop handles directly without a formal consultation, and for larger weddings where the couple can view the venue before sitting down with the florist.

It is less suited to couples who want to compare published packages before making contact, since the shop does not offer fixed packages. Couples who need English should check that first, and couples marrying well outside Aargau should ask about delivery before anything else.
