Chartreusefleurs
Tap a star to rate
Chartreusefleurs is a flower shop and wedding florist at Staatsstrasse 150 in Hünibach, which the site presents as "Direkt in Thun", right by Thun. It is owned by Margrit Knutti ("Geschäftsinhaberin"). Weddings are its main theme: the site says it has designed more than 400 weddings, from intimate to large, in Switzerland and abroad, and it states that it holds a Swiss Wedding Award. For a couple who want one florist to plan, deliver and set up all the wedding flowers, it is one of the more clearly described options; the site is in German and publishes no wedding prices.
What the studio promises
The wedding page frames the offer around one idea: the wedding should feel right, "Nicht nach Trends. Nicht nach Vorgaben." (not following trends, not following set rules). Every project starts with a free one-to-one consultation ("kostenloses 1:1 Beratungsgespräch"), and the FAQ says the studio works individually, with no ready-made packages: each wedding is matched to the couple's wishes, location and schedule.
The home page gives the figures the studio uses to present itself: a freshness guarantee of 7+ days on its bouquets, a customer rating of 4.9/5 based on Google reviews and personal feedback (a review section elsewhere on the page shows 4.8 stars on Google), more than 400 weddings designed, and "100% terminsichere Umsetzung", delivery on schedule every time, which the page calls decisive for weddings. It also says the team is reachable "24/7" when it matters, for a short-notice question or a change of plan.
On the award, the site says the studio is recognized for professional floristry and modern wedding decorations, as proof that it delivers precisely and reliably on large projects. It does not give the year or the category of the award.
The wedding services
The wedding page covers each part of the day in its own section:
- Brautstrauss (bridal bouquet): the team looks at the dress, the bride's style and presence, and builds the bouquet step by step, so that on the day it is simply ready.
- Tischdekoration (table decoration): colors, flowers, candles, heights and spacing are planned so that guests can talk and nothing needs moving. The studio takes over planning, execution and setup.
- Blumenbogen (flower arch): shape, size and flowers matched to the location; the page says the arch stands securely and withstands wind and weather. Setup and placement are included.
- Freie Trauung (free ceremony) and Kirchendekoration (church decoration): restrained floral design that follows the space.
- Blumenschmuck: the overall floral decoration linking the locations through the day, from the bouquet to the ceremony and tables.
- Autodekoration: the car, decorated in advance and securely fixed.
- Hochzeitsshootings: flowers placed with the photography, light and route of the day in mind.
- Gesamtkonzept: a full floral concept, listed as including floral concepts, bridal bouquet and buttonholes, table and room decoration, ceremony decoration, and "Lieferung, Aufbau und Koordination vor Ort" (delivery, setup and coordination on site).
The process runs in 4 steps: getting to know the couple, the concept, agreeing all the details, and execution, with delivery and setup handled in the background on the day.
Planning rules worth knowing
The FAQ sections give concrete rules that are useful for a couple planning from afar:
- Lead time: "Um sicherzugehen, dass das Datum noch frei ist, empfehlen wir eine Anfrage mindestens 6 Monate im Voraus." To be sure the date is free, the studio recommends asking at least 6 months ahead. The wedding page adds that several months ahead is ideal, especially in high season.
- Changes: changes are accepted up to 3 days before the wedding; on the wedding day itself no more adjustments are possible.
- Larger weddings: the studio says weddings with many guests, special locations or complex schedules are part of its work.
- Other suppliers: it coordinates with the venue, planners, technicians or photographers where needed.
- No clear idea yet: many couples arrive without one, and the team guides them step by step.
- Delivery: for ordinary orders placed by 12 noon, same-day delivery is guaranteed; for event setups, the agreed times apply.
- Which flowers last: the FAQ names eustoma, alstroemeria, carnations, amaryllis and hydrangeas as long-lasting, and tulips, poppies, anemones and garden roses as shorter-lived.
The only price on the site is for everyday bouquets: the FAQ says a nice bouquet costs from CHF 50. Wedding work is quoted after the consultation.
Weddings abroad
A section headed "Auch über Ländergrenzen hinweg" (across borders too) addresses couples marrying somewhere unfamiliar, by the sea or in the mountains. In the studio's words: "Gerade wenn Sie fern von Zuhause heiraten, möchten Sie sich nicht fragen müssen, ob alles funktioniert." When you marry far from home, you do not want to wonder whether everything will work. It says it accompanies weddings abroad "mit derselben Aufmerksamkeit und Klarheit wie Hochzeiten vor Ort", with the same attention and clarity as local ones, and invites couples to tell it about their chosen place in a free consultation. The site does not explain how travel, transport of flowers or costs work for a wedding abroad.
What customers say
The site quotes Google reviews. One couple describe the florist's help when they married in April and wanted hydrangeas; Margrit Knutti steered them to anemones instead. Another couple, who married at Schloss Hünigen, write that the flowers they took home were still lovely a week after the celebration and that the price was fair. These are the studio's own selection of reviews.
Contact and opening hours
Chartreusefleurs, Staatsstrasse 150, 3626 Hünibach. Phone +41 (0)33 243 14 36, e-mail info@chartreusefleurs.ch; the site says it replies within a few hours. The contact form has an option for an individual wedding consultation. Shop hours are Monday to Friday 09.30 to 12.15 and 13.30 to 18.30, and Saturday 08.30 to 16.00 without a break. The site links a route planner but does not describe public transport or parking.
What the site does not settle
The website is in German only and does not say whether the team works in English. Given the studio's pitch to couples marrying away from home, it is a natural first question.
There are no wedding prices or example budgets. The site does not state a deposit or cancellation terms, how far the team travels within Switzerland, or what delivery and setup cost for a distant venue.
Who it suits
Chartreusefleurs suits couples who want to hand the whole floral side of the wedding to one team: concept, delivery, setup and on-site coordination, with firm rules on lead time and changes. The size of its wedding record and the detail of its FAQ make it reassuring for couples planning from a distance.
It is less suited to couples who want to adjust things on the day itself, since the studio does not do that, or who need a published price range before the first consultation.
