Jungle Pop
Tap a star to rate
Jungle Pop is a florist with a shop at 1 route de Chêne in Geneva, selling contemporary bouquets online and in store, delivering across the canton, and taking on floral decoration for weddings and corporate events. Its news section shows two weddings it decorated in Geneva, and the site can be switched between French, English and German, which makes first contact easier for couples who do not write French.
How the shop presents itself
In its own words, Jungle Pop "est né du désir de réinventer le métier de fleuriste à Genève", born of the wish to reinvent the florist's trade in Geneva, and it aims to be a Swiss reference for eco-responsible floral art. It describes a line of bouquets and arrangements with a strong style, paired with a high-end service, and says its made-to-measure arrangements draw on world cultures, haute couture and even contemporary architecture. Its clients, the page says, range from private customers looking for a single bouquet to large Swiss and international houses that commission floral projects.
The homepage quotes Elle Magazine Suisse, in its edition of 2 May 2024: "Plus qu'un simple fleuriste, Jungle Pop est un créateur d'ambiances pour particuliers et entreprises qui bouscule les codes de l'art floral traditionnel" (more than a florist, a creator of atmospheres for individuals and companies that shakes up the codes of traditional floral art).
On sourcing, the site says the flowers come from local and international growers chosen for the quality and sustainability of their cultivation, that it favors local and European partners to cut transport distances, and that every piece is assembled by hand in the Geneva workshop. It also states that the shop does not use a cold room for its flowers. A care section on the homepage gives advice a bride can use for her bouquet after the day: keep the bouquet tied, use a clean vase, change the water every 2 days, keep it away from direct sun and radiators, and recut the stems at 45 degrees.
Wedding work on the site
Weddings do not have their own price list or package here; they appear through the shop's news posts. Two are relevant:
- Mariage au restaurant du parc des Eaux-Vives. At the restaurant of the Parc des Eaux-Vives in Geneva, the post says, Jungle Pop designed a wedding floral decoration it describes as "éclatante et raffinée" (radiant and refined).
- Wedding Day. A post describes decorating a wedding at the Jardin de Penthes, which the shop calls one of the most beautiful places in Geneva.
A third post covers a Summer Party the shop designed and produced for a corporate client on a Rio carnival theme, and a press item presents a floral project for Parfums Christian Dior. Neither is a wedding, but they show that the shop takes on event decoration, not only bouquets.
The page also lists weddings among the occasions it makes bouquets for ("célébrer un mariage"), with bouquets made to measure. What a wedding commission includes (bridal bouquet, buttonholes, ceremony and table flowers, installation and removal) is not set out, so it has to be discussed with the shop.
Prices the shop publishes
The shop is open about its retail prices, which gives a sense of its level even though wedding work is quoted separately:
- Most bouquets in the online shop start from CHF 60 (Bouquet Jungle Pop, Élégance, Nature, Romance, Carte Blanche and others).
- The Bouquet Contemporain starts from CHF 100.
- The "Bouquet de roses" is listed at CHF 8, without saying what quantity that buys.
- Flower subscriptions start from CHF 210 for 3 months, CHF 440 for 6 months and CHF 890 for 12 months.
- Hello Candle candles are CHF 49.99.
The site also sells "plantes volcaniques", plants fixed on lava stone, plus plants, pearl hummingbirds, the shop's own "Lumière de Genève" candles and gift cards. No wedding prices are published.
Delivery, hours and contact
The homepage headline is "Livraison le jour même à Genève" (same-day delivery in Geneva), and the page says the shop offers a fast delivery service "dans tout le canton" (across the whole canton), as well as click and collect. Bouquets are packed and protected for transport, the site says. It does not state a cut-off time for same-day orders, whether it delivers outside the canton of Geneva, or how it handles installation at a venue.
Opening hours are published: closed Monday, Tuesday to Friday 09:00 to 18:30, Saturday 09:00 to 17:00, closed Sunday. The site also flags a closure on the Jeûne genevois public holiday. Contact details are the address 1 route de Chêne, 1207 Genève, the email info@junglepop.ch, the phone +41 22 525 70 01 and WhatsApp on +41 78 240 52 02.
Languages and booking from abroad
The site has a language switcher for Français, English and Deutsch, so couples can read it in English. It does not say in which languages the team handles wedding consultations, although a site set up in 3 languages is a reasonable place to open in English and ask. There is no wedding request form; the practical route is an email to info@junglepop.ch or a WhatsApp message with the date, the venue and the scope.
What the site does not settle
For a wedding the gaps are the usual ones, and worth listing plainly:
- No wedding prices, packages or minimum spend.
- No lead time for booking wedding flowers, and no deposit or cancellation terms on the site.
- No statement on whether the team travels to venues outside the canton of Geneva, or how set-up and collection are organized.
- No description of a consultation or trial for the bridal bouquet.
- Sunday is a closed day for the shop, and the site does not say whether weddings on Sundays or holidays can be served.
Who it suits
Jungle Pop suits a couple marrying in Geneva who want a contemporary, design-led florist rather than a traditional one, and who like the idea of a shop that also produces event decoration for fashion and corporate clients. The two published Geneva weddings, the English version of the site and the WhatsApp contact make the shop straightforward to approach for a couple planning from abroad.
The caveats: wedding pricing is not public, so the shop's level can only be read from its retail prices, and the wedding portfolio on the homepage is two posts long. A couple marrying outside the canton should confirm early that the shop will deliver and install there, since the site only promises delivery within Geneva.
