Luuniq

Forchstrasse 63, Herrliberg

Tap a star to rate

Ask a Zurich-region florist whether they deliver the flowers or actually turn up to arrange them, and most answer in half a sentence buried on a services page. Luuniq gives it a whole FAQ entry of its own: "Übernehmen Sie Transport, Aufbau und Abbau der Dekoration?" (Do you handle transport, setup and breakdown of the decoration?). The answer doesn't hedge: "Ja. Wir übernehmen die komplette Logistik" (Yes. We handle the complete logistics), which the site spells out as delivering every floral piece and accessory, decorating on site, then coming back after the celebration to take it all down again. That's three distinct jobs named as one service rather than a courier handing over a box at the door, and it's the clearest statement on the whole site of what a couple is actually paying for.

Luuniq GmbH works out of Herrliberg, on the eastern shore of Lake Zurich, from a base at Forchstrasse 63, 8704 Herrliberg. The florist behind it is Heinke Montsch, whose own page introduces her with a line about her heart belonging to plants rather than a résumé, and names no founding year for the company. The FAQ fills that gap differently: "Unser Team blickt auf mehr als 15 Jahre Erfahrung zurück und hat bereits über 700 Veranstaltungen realisiert - von der intimen Hochzeit bis zum grossen Firmenbankett" (Our team looks back on more than 15 years of experience and has already realised over 700 events, from the intimate wedding to the large corporate banquet). A press feature in Swiss Wedding Magazine, reproduced on Luuniq's own press page, puts Montsch's personal career further back still: "Seit über 30 Jahren im floralen Business unterwegs, hat die Freude keinesfalls nachgelassen" (In the floral business for more than 30 years, and the enthusiasm hasn't faded at all). Read together, that's a longer personal career in floristry than the 15 years the Luuniq team has been trading under this name.

What "over 700" actually counts

Luuniq's wedding-decoration landing page promises couples the benefit of "unserer jahrelangen Erfahrung in der Gestaltung von über 700 Hochzeiten" (our years of experience designing over 700 weddings), and the bridal-bouquet page repeats a near-identical line, "mehr als 700 erfolgreichen Hochzeiten und Events" (more than 700 successful weddings and events). Both read as though 700 weddings alone sit behind the business. The FAQ, which is the only page that actually breaks the figure down, says something narrower: 700-plus events in total, spanning everything from an intimate wedding to a large corporate banquet. Luuniq also runs separate service lines for baptisms, confirmations and funeral floristry, and nothing in the FAQ's sentence excludes those from the combined count. The honest version is 700-plus events across the business's full range of occasions, weddings included but not counted on their own, not 700 weddings by themselves.

Bouquet to banquet, and the pieces in between

The wedding-decoration section splits into a bridal-bouquet page, a ceremony page, a table-decoration page and a fourth page of extras. The bouquet page promises a style match, "klassisch oder modern, romantisch oder minimalistisch," built around the dress, the season and the couple's colour concept, rather than a fixed catalogue to pick from. The ceremony page's one concrete image is a floral arch: "einen wilden und üppigen Blütenbogen, Teppich und Sträusschen für die Bankreihen" (a wild, lush floral arch, a runner and small bouquets for the pew rows), which puts an actual installation, not just a bouquet, on the ceremony side of the job. The table page keeps its own promise vaguer, offering to help "Ihren Hochzeitstisch perfekt in Szene zu setzen" while accounting for personal wishes, colour concept and overall style, though the landing page elsewhere does list the pieces that make up that table look in practice: floral arrangements, candle glasses, candlesticks and mirrors. The fourth page rounds out what falls under "bridal flowers" beyond the bouquet itself: hair accessories for the bride, petals for a flower girl to scatter, hair flowers and bouquets for bridesmaids, buttonholes for witnesses, a floral ring pillow, and decoration for the wedding car.

No package price, and the FAQ says why

Luuniq publishes no price list and no figure I could find anywhere, including in a blog post specifically about wedding-decoration costs, which discusses ways to manage a budget (reusing arrangements, choosing seasonal stems, using filler flowers to stretch a design further) without ever naming a CHF amount. What it does publish is a direct answer on whether there's a floor to spend past: "Es gibt keine starren Paketpreise oder Mindestbestellmengen - Sie kombinieren Ihr persönliches Dekorations-Puzzle" (There are no fixed package prices or minimum order quantities, you put together your own personal decoration puzzle). That's a specific claim, not silence, and it puts Luuniq in a different position from suppliers who quote nothing and let a couple assume a floor exists anyway.

Getting to a quote

The process the FAQ describes starts with a contact form or a phone call, followed by what it calls an "unverbindliches Erstgespräch" (a non-binding initial conversation) covering wishes, style ideas and budget. On timing, Luuniq's own advice is straightforward: earlier gives more room for concept development and for reserving the date, but "kurzfristige Anfragen sind möglich, sofern Kapazitäten frei sind" (short-notice requests are possible if capacity allows). On sourcing, the FAQ commits to seasonal and regional flowers "nach Möglichkeit" (where possible) and to reusable decor elements, a qualified promise rather than an absolute one, which reads as more honest than most florists' blanket claims. On reach, Luuniq says it travels the whole of Switzerland but decorates mainly in "Grossraum Zürich, der Innerschweiz und Schaffhausen," further afield only "je nach Aufwand und Termin" (depending on the effort involved and the date). For a couple weighing whether a florist based east of Lake Zurich can reach a venue elsewhere in the country, that's a real answer rather than an unlimited one.

Where the work has actually happened

Luuniq's references page names real venues rather than showing only a gallery: events at the Park Hyatt through a Credit Suisse booking, Baur Au Lac, Belvoirpark Rüschlikon and Kokon in Liechtenstein sit alongside its testimonials. One of them, from a couple named Claudia and Bruno, reads in full: "Liebe Heinke Für deine tolle und vor allem kreative Hochzeitsdekoration möchten wir uns herzlich bedanken. Der Duft deiner Blumen begleitete uns den ganzen Tag. Für uns bist du die Beste!" (Dear Heinke, thank you for your wonderful and above all creative wedding decoration. The scent of your flowers stayed with us the whole day. For us, you're the best!) Press coverage adds specifics beyond Luuniq's own copy: newinzurich.com covered Luuniq at a Park Hyatt wedding fair it calls the second edition, held on 19 November 2016, and the Swiss trade title Florist Magazine quoted the business's own definition of success, calling the "Gänsehaut-Feeling," the goosebumps moment, its highest goal for a wedding design.

Worth knowing before you write

Everything on the site runs in German, with no English version and no language switcher anywhere I found, so a couple planning from abroad should confirm directly, before booking, that a consultation and the day-of coordination can run in English. Nothing on the site addresses that either way. It's a fair question to raise given how much of the rest of the process, from the initial conversation to the FAQ's own "Dekorations-Puzzle" line, depends on being able to talk through the details in depth.

For a couple who already knows they want someone handling the whole physical job of a wedding, not just the flowers, Luuniq's own FAQ is unusually specific about what that includes: a named floral arch for the ceremony, table pieces down to candle glasses and mirrors, delivery, on-site setup and a return visit to break it all down, with no minimum order standing between a couple and a smaller design. That combination, stated plainly rather than implied, is the strongest reason to get in touch.
