Romantic flor

Romantic flor is a flower shop at Solothurnstrasse 14 in Urtenen-Schönbühl, in the canton of Bern, run by Romina Möri-Bouquet, who set up on her own in September 2021. Wedding floristry has its own page on the site, built around bridal bouquets and a consultation by appointment, and the shop also does funeral work, gifts, flower subscriptions and deliveries in the local area.
The owner and how she works
The about page (Über uns) is written in the first person. Romina opens with "Aller Anfang ist schwer", every beginning is hard, and says that with the energetic support of her family and good friends she managed to go independent in September 2021. She trained as an ornamental plant gardener and then did a supplementary apprenticeship as a florist ("Als gelernte Zierpflanzengärtnerin mit Zusatzlehre als Floristin"), and writes that she loves flowers and plants at every stage and puts her heart into the work.
She describes herself as a person closely connected to nature and says that this shows in her creations. Whenever possible she tries to support Swiss producers and to use natural materials, and she says she tries to get the best out of everything that comes into her hands. Her closing promise is attention to detail and attentive service, so that every customer gets what they imagined. The page mentions experienced staff ("unsere erfahrenen Mitarbeiter") who give advice, without naming them.
Wedding flowers
The wedding page carries the line "Liebe hält die Zeit an und lässt die Ewigkeit beginnen" (love stops time and lets eternity begin) and a button to order a bridal bouquet. Its short text says that everything must be perfect for the big day, the flower decoration included, and that the shop works closely with the couple so that the floral decoration delights everyone: "arbeiten wir eng mit Ihnen zusammen". Whatever the ideas, the team tries to realize them together with the couple, and it asks couples to book an appointment, saying it gladly takes the time to discuss everything.
A second block on the same page invites couples to book a date to talk through the flower arrangements for "den wichtigsten Tag in Ihrem Leben", the most important day of their lives, and promises a thorough consultation that finds the right choice "für Ihren Geschmack und Ihr Budget", for their taste and their budget. Between the two sits a picture gallery headed "alles was es braucht für den grossen Tag", everything the big day needs. The gallery has no captions, so it shows the style but does not list what a wedding order contains.
The rest of the shop
The about page lists what the shop offers: seasonal flowers, wedding floristry, funeral floristry, flowers for special occasions and events, gift items, standing orders and flower subscriptions, grave planting, gift vouchers, watering plants while customers are on holiday, and deliveries in the area around Urtenen-Schönbühl. The events page adds that its standing orders suit offices, companies and practices, with fresh flowers delivered at regular intervals, and invites customers to order flowers for events in Bern and the surrounding area. The same page has its own gallery of arrangements and asks visitors to come by and see the range of fresh cut flowers, bouquets and plants in the shop. Its motto for the page is a gentle one: a flower does not worry whether it can keep up with the flower next to it, it simply blooms.
One detail is unusual. The shop has a self-service hut next to the store, which every page describes as open around the clock: "Unser Selbstbedienungs-Häuschen neben dem Laden ist rund um die Uhr für Sie geöffnet." It has its own item in the site menu. The site does not list what the hut stocks or how payment works there, but for anyone nearby it is the one way to pick up flowers outside the short staffed hours, which could matter for a last-minute bouquet or a small gift on the wedding weekend.
Opening hours, location and contact
The staffed opening hours are short. The shop is open on Monday and Thursday from 9:00 to 12:00 and closed on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Visits and consultations therefore need to be planned, which fits the wedding page's own emphasis on booking an appointment.
The contact page describes the shop as centrally located in Urtenen-Schönbühl at Solothurnstrasse 14 and says there is parking in front of the shop. Contact is by phone on 076 346 11 08, by email at romanticflor@yahoo.com, or through the contact form on the same page, which asks for name, email, phone and a message and promises a reply as soon as possible.
What the site does not settle
No prices are published for bridal bouquets or wedding decoration, and there are no packages. The wedding page mentions the bridal bouquet explicitly but does not list other items, such as boutonnieres, table arrangements, church decoration or setup at a venue, so a couple should bring a full list to the first meeting. Delivery is stated for the area around Urtenen-Schönbühl and for events in Bern and the surrounding area; whether the shop will deliver to a venue further away, and whether it sets up on site, is not said.
The site is in German, and it says nothing about English or other languages. Its contact form carries the heading "Contact Us" in English, but that is the only English on the site. A couple writing from abroad should use email and ask about language at the start.
Who it suits
Romantic flor suits couples marrying in and around Urtenen-Schönbühl or the Bern area who like a florist with a gardener's background, a preference for Swiss producers and natural materials, and a personal, appointment-based way of working. The promise to match the flowers to a couple's budget as well as their taste is a helpful signal for couples who want to talk money openly.
The limits are practical: staffed opening only on Monday and Thursday mornings, no published prices and no description of on-site service. A couple from abroad should expect to set up the first contact by email, then fix an appointment on a Monday or Thursday morning, or arrange another time with the shop.
