After her basic training as a florist, Lia Johanna Bieri writes, she had the good fortune to spend a few months interning with a star florist in Vienna. Back in Switzerland she took further training in floristry, interior design and adult education, and passed the examination for the Eidgenössischer Fachausweis, the federal professional certificate. She then managed a larger, long-established branch in St. Gallen before opening her own shop: "Für mich ist damit ein lang gehegter Traum in Erfüllung gegangen." For her, opening The Bloom was a long-held dream coming true.

Wedding and Event Arrangements

The Bloom names wedding and event arrangements as a primary service, with a dedicated page on the website. The description focuses on the sensory and emotional experience: wedding flowers are "ein Fest für alle Sinne und betören mit ihrem bezaubernden Duft" (a feast for all senses and enchant with their charming fragrance). What remains open

The wedding page gives no prices for bridal bouquets or wedding arrangements, only the promise of a free estimate. It mentions delivering the bouquet and arrangements on time, but does not define a delivery area, a delivery charge or whether the florists set up at the venue. The site is entirely in German and says nothing about English or other languages, so a couple planning from abroad should ask about language in the first email. The team is referred to as "unsere Floristinnen", our florists, but only the owner is named.
