Wildflowery is a flower studio in Kilchberg, near Zurich, that specializes in wedding and event floral design: bouquets, table arrangements, boutonnieres and floral installations, set up on site on the day. Its whole website is written in English, it publishes a minimum spend, and it describes its style in four words repeated across the homepage: "WILD. ROMANTIC. DREAMY. STYLISH."

What kind of florist it is

The homepage is direct about what the studio is not: "Wildflowery is not a regular flower store". Designs are made individually for each couple, in the studio or on site. The site calls its look "elegant wilderness" and says its floral design takes a luxurious and stylish approach built on slowflowers, which it explains as locally grown flowers that are usually not used in traditional floristry. Using as many of them as possible, the studio says, is its specialty and gives a wild, natural yet stylish look.

The name comes with a small story on the homepage: a wildflowery is described as a tiny, resilient flower that started to grow between cement blocks, with the aim of reclaiming nature and kindness. A separate section argues for booking a specialized wedding florist at all: it reduces the stress of planning because the flowers are in expert hands, the studio understands what couples expect of wedding flowers, and it communicates closely to turn a couple's vision and preferences into designs that match the wedding's theme and style.

The site gives a sense of where its flowers have ended up: a simple yet luxurious garden party, a little church, an industrial restaurant, a lakeside setting. The gallery credits a series of wedding photographers, from jessicaamberphotography.com to raldobermejo.pro and julietroxler.ch, and is the place to check whether the style fits.

The wedding services

The services page lists what the studio makes.

  • Bouquets. The bridal bouquet gets the most attention, because it is the main piece of the day: "Our aim is to WOW you!" Bouquets are also made for bridesmaids, mothers, aunts and grandmothers, "whoever wants to be part of the flower circle".
  • Arrangements in different sizes for ceremony tables, lunch or dinner tables, high tables for the "Apéro", the bar or the fireplace. The studio works with high-quality ceramics, currently mostly in shell and blush pink, designed for sustainable tools.
  • Floral accessories: boutonnieres, flower crowns, corsages (flower bracelets), hair accessories and more.
  • Fruity accessories: fruit or other elements added to reinforce a garden feeling.
  • Floral installations, which the site calls the eye-catcher of a wedding. For the ceremony these can include a floral arch, aisle florals and pedestal backdrops, and even in a restaurant the aim is for guests to feel surrounded by foliage and flowers as in a garden.

Anything not on the list can be discussed through the inquiry form.

Sustainability

The values section says the studio respects nature, partners, employees and clients, and that its main goal is to use as many slowflowers as possible, adding that quality takes time. It works with sustainable materials and tools: "We do not use green floral foam", the site says, using chicken wire or floral frogs instead, which can be reused endlessly. The ceramics in its arrangements are chosen for the same tools.

Price and booking

The site answers the cost question directly in its FAQ: "Wildflowery has a minimum spend of CHF 4k." It explains why: behind wedding flowers sits the offer, a vision board, the contract, ordering flowers, organizing a team, setting up tools and preparing the flowers. Preparation and arranging start days before the wedding, and setting up at the venue involves logistics within a tight schedule. No per-item prices are published.

Booking runs in four steps, as the FAQ describes them: fill in the inquiry form; receive the welcome package and answer a questionnaire; receive an offer and a lookbook; and the date is saved once the couple books and pays a deposit. The homepage adds that the studio communicates closely with the couple, provides on-site setup so that everything is in place on the day, offers "Little attentions before and after your special day!", and puts "Flexibility and kindess always first!"

Workshops

The studio also runs workshops for occasions such as Mother's Day, bachelorette parties and birthdays, making flower crowns, arrangements or mandalas in a relaxed setting with food. A bachelorette workshop is an obvious fit for a bride's friends before the wedding, and the site invites people to get in touch if interested.

What couples say

Two testimonials sit on the homepage. Florence and Vasco write that "Kathrin understood us, got involved from the start, was creative, attentive and adapted to all our requests and changes". Zsofia writes that the flowers "totally exceeded my expectations" and that Kathrin did a fabulous job down to the last detail. The testimonials name Kathrin as the florist; the site itself does not give her surname or a team list.

What the site leaves open

The site publishes no per-item prices beyond the minimum, no lead time and no deposit amount. It gives no street address, and the contact route is the inquiry form. It says Wildflowery is based in Kilchberg near Zurich but does not state how far the team travels or whether travel costs are added for a wedding further away. Because the site is in English, language is less of an open question here, though a couple who prefers German can ask.

Who it suits

Wildflowery suits couples who see flowers as central to their wedding, like a wild, romantic and natural look with local and unusual flowers, and want a studio that designs, prepares and sets up everything. The English-language site, clear booking steps and published minimum make it easy to deal with from abroad. The site's own test is a good one: it is looking for couples for whom flowers are not just "nice to have".

It suits less well a couple with a small flower budget below the minimum, or one who wants a classic, conventional look. The studio says so itself: it is looking for couples who trust its style.
