Atelier Treger

Lucerne

Tap a star to rate

Atelier Treger sits at Klosterstrasse 11 in Lucerne and is run by Anna de Weerdt and Markus Elmiger. The shop draws on 1920s to 1940s tailoring and brings it into present-day cuts. Made-to-measure suits are the core offering, and the range covers wedding suits, smoking and morning suits, custom shirts and a ready-to-wear line for men.

What sets the place apart is how much of the small stuff is made on site. Suspenders and bow ties are produced in their own Lucerne workshop, and the accessories carry on through cufflinks, collar stays, pocket squares and cummerbunds, so a groom can match the details to the suit rather than hunt them down separately. Materials are sourced from European suppliers with a focus on natural fabrics. The shop serves customers in German, English and French.
