Le Tailleur

Tap a star to rate

Le Tailleur works from rue des Deux-Marchés in Lausanne and makes three-piece suits, tuxedos and tailcoats for grooms. There are two routes through the workshop. Full bespoke takes two to three months, or four to five weeks with a rush option, while the half-measure line runs in three to four weeks, down to two to three with a rush. That leaves a way in both for couples planning early and for those who left it late.

The cloth choice runs to wool, cotton and linen, and the customisation reaches lapel width, lining, button type and pocket shape, with each detail settled during the design. Fittings are usually spread across three or four appointments. Matching shoes and belts are made with a Spanish workshop, and custom shirts are available too. Service is in French.
