The Sartorialist makes suits to measure at Beethovenstrasse 24 in central Zurich, across from the Park Hyatt, working only with Italian cloth from mills such as Loro Piana, Vitale Barberis Canonico, Drago, Reda, Solbiati, Zegna, Scabal and Cerruti. The first consultation runs at least 60 to 90 minutes and covers the conversation, the fabric, the cut, the measurements (taken across more than 30 parameters) and the detailing, down to collar shape, pockets, buttons, lining and initials.
The finished suit is ready in about 20 working days, and small alterations are done on site at the fitting. For a wedding they suggest starting eight to ten weeks ahead, which leaves time for the groom and, if wanted, the best men and guests. Service covers German, English, French and several other languages.
