A mountain hotel in St. Moritz for small weddings
Berghotel Randolins is a hotel at Via Curtins 2 in St. Moritz, in the Engadin. Its wedding page, headed "Yes, I will...", presents it as "your location for small parties up to 38 people", and opens with a line that tells a couple exactly where it stands: "Getting married in St. Moritz: You don't have to be one of the richest people in the world to be able to afford this!" In a resort known for its grand hotels, that is the pitch. This is a mountain hotel with a warm restaurant, a terrace with a view, rooms for the guests, and a size that suits a small wedding.
The site also links to the Randolins Familienresort and a Hostel by Randolins, and the hotel offers a holiday apartment and an observatory where guests can spend the night.
The wedding spaces
The page lays out four elements.
Restaurant Stüvetta is the heart of it: "For parties up to 38 people." The German page describes it as a cozy restaurant paneled in Arvenholz (Swiss stone pine), so the dinner takes place in a traditional mountain room.
The aperitif is served on the terrace. The English page calls it a terrace with mountain view, and the German one names the view: "Aussicht auf Corvatsch & Co." (a view of the Corvatsch and neighboring peaks).
In summer, a BBQ aperitif at the hotel's grill spot, which the German page describes as "Die Grillstelle mit der wohl atemberaubendsten Aussicht im Engadin" (the grill spot with perhaps the most spectacular view in the Engadin).
Event rooms are for celebrations and as a bad-weather alternative, and the German page adds that they can host free ceremonies ("freie Trauungen, Zeremonien"). Here the two language versions differ: the English page gives up to 120 people with the aperitif in the foyer or on the terrace, while the German page gives "bis ca. 100 Personen" (up to about 100) in the seminar room with the aperitif in the foyer. The hotel's conference rooms are named Guarda and Ardez. A couple with more than 38 guests should confirm which figure applies and what the room looks like when set for a wedding dinner.
Rooms, food and the rest of the hotel
The hotel offers single rooms, double rooms, four-bed rooms, family rooms and suites, and a holiday apartment by Randolins. The booking panel promises breakfast and wellness included with stays, free Wi-Fi and free parking, and a best-price advantage for booking direct. For a wedding party, the four-bed and family rooms make it easy to house families together.
Besides Restaurant Stüvetta there is a second restaurant, Ristorante Pasta e Basta, plus breakfast and half-board, a panorama terrace, a lobby, a spa with massages and treatments, and the hotel's own products. The site's surroundings section covers skiing and snowboarding, cross-country skiing, winter hiking, mountain biking, trail running and fall in the Engadin, so guests who come for a long weekend have plenty to do in either season.
For families, the booking panel counts children from 0 to 15 and adults from 16, and suggests the Randolins Familienresort to anyone booking with children, which is worth knowing for a wedding with many young guests. The hotel also has pages on its history, its sustainability work, its team, guest ratings, a FAQ and gift vouchers, and the German menu lists a winter event called Tango im Schnee. A couple can read a good deal about the house before writing, and the webcam shows the current conditions on the mountain.
Seasons and opening dates
This is a seasonal hotel, and the wedding page prints its dates. Summer 2026 runs from 19.06 to 01.11.2026, winter 2026/27 from 27.11 to 05.04.2027, and summer 2027 from 18.06 to 31.10.2027. Between seasons the hotel closes; the page says the house stays closed until June 19, 2026, while rooms and tables can still be booked online and the team answers phone and email from Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 12:00. A wedding date has to fall inside those windows, and a couple planning in the closed weeks should expect replies only in those morning hours.
Contact and language
The hotel publishes its wedding page in English, German and Italian. Enquiries go to welcome@randolins.ch (willkommen@randolins.ch on the German side) or +41 (0)81 830 83 83. The German page puts the approach in one sentence: "Gerne schneidern wir für Sie ein Angebot nach Wunsch und Budget zusammen" (we are glad to put together an offer to suit your wishes and budget). The site does not say which languages the team works in, but an English enquiry is the obvious start.
The site has a directions page and a "Show route" link, but the wedding page itself gives no travel times from an airport and no information on a transfer, so guests flying in should ask the hotel how it recommends reaching St. Moritz.
What the page leaves open
The hotel publishes no wedding prices or menus, only the promise of a tailored offer. It does not say whether a civil ceremony can take place at the hotel, only that the event rooms suit free ceremonies. It does not say whether the whole hotel can be reserved for a wedding party, whether a room block is discounted, how late a party may run, or whether outside suppliers such as a photographer or musicians need approval. The terrace and the BBQ spot have no stated capacity. And the 100 or 120 figure for the event rooms needs confirming.
Who it suits
Berghotel Randolins suits a couple planning a small wedding in St. Moritz, up to 38 in a pine-paneled restaurant, with guests staying in the same hotel and an aperitif on a terrace facing the mountains. The published opening dates, the English site and the stated price attitude make it easy to plan from abroad on a sensible budget.
It is not the place for a large banquet, since anything above 38 moves to the event rooms. And because the hotel closes between seasons, a couple wanting a date in May or mid-November will have to look elsewhere.
