The site's own Impressum names the operating company as True Brides AG, registered in Zug under company number CHE-444.483.166 and run by 2 board members, Wayne Harris and Martine Harris, who also run the group's German GmbH sibling out of Hamburg (Amtsgericht Hamburg, HRB 180053). The trademark itself, TRUE SOCIETY®, belongs to a separate holding company, True Society AG, and every page footer carries a Franchise Opportunities link. None of that makes the Zug shop less real. It means a bride booking here is walking into a franchise location with a group-wide size range, a group-wide designer roster and group-wide pricing, not a one-off boutique somebody opened on their own.

The store itself sits at Bahnhofstrasse 13 in Zug, the same address the Impressum lists for True Brides AG, an 8-minute walk from the train station with parking in the building's own Vorstadt car park (entrance on Schmidgasse 3). A Standard appointment is 1 hour 30 minutes, free of charge, and covers a pre-appointment consultation, a store tour, a private fitting room and a stylist's exclusive time. An Extended appointment stretches that to 2 hours for 50 CHF, non-refundable, paid at booking. An Upgraded appointment keeps the Standard's 1-hour, 30-minute length but adds sweets and Prosecco (or the alcohol-free version) for 125 CHF covering the bride and 5 guests, plus 25 CHF per extra guest, payable by phone at least 5 days ahead. The VIP tier runs the same extras over a full 2 hours for 250 CHF, with the same 5-guest allowance and 25 CHF add-on. Alterations are outsourced, and so is the lead-time guarantee

True Society Zug does not do alterations in house. The store's own FAQ says so plainly: no in-house tailoring, but the shop keeps a list of recommended seamstresses to hand a bride on to. That's a second appointment and a second address for anyone flying in for a short trip, worth building into an itinerary rather than assuming the boutique handles everything start to finish.

The bigger gap for a couple planning from abroad is that the site never states an exact production or delivery time in weeks or months. What it does say, on both the Zug page and the group-wide FAQ, is to start shopping 9 months to a year ahead to avoid rush fees, and to call the store directly when working with less time than that. No week count is published anywhere I could find, on this store's page or the wider site, so anyone counting down to a wedding date has to get that number by phone rather than by reading it here. The one firm, quotable fallback the site does publish is the off-the-rack line already mentioned: dresses from 599 CHF that leave the store the same day, the only same-day guarantee anywhere on the page.

No menswear, and no promise on which language the fitting runs in

The site's navigation covers Brides, Bridesmaids and Designers; nothing in it, and nothing in the 7-label designer roster, points to menswear or a groom's line, so anyone in the wedding party needing a suit is shopping elsewhere. The site itself runs in English and Deutsch, toggled from the header on every page, including this store's own listing, its FAQ and its booking flow, so an English-speaking couple can read and book without translating anything. What the site doesn't say is which language a stylist will actually run the fitting in on the day: worth confirming by phone before booking, especially this far from a French- or Italian-speaking canton, where a shop defaulting to German would be a bigger surprise.

None of this reads as an independent Zug atelier's own story, because it isn't one. What it is: a franchise location backed by 2 named owners who run the same operation in Hamburg, staffed by 13 people a bride can look up by name before ever calling, carrying 7 real designer lines at 7 real price bands instead of one blurred range, and priced down to the franc for every appointment tier up to the one that's genuinely site-specific, the second-floor suite at Bahnhofstrasse 13. A couple who wants that kind of predictability, and is happy to book a second stop for alterations and a phone call for a firm delivery date, gets exactly what the site promises. A couple hoping for a small, one-of-a-kind find gets something else, and this shop's own paperwork doesn't pretend otherwise.
