Simone Gori

Simone Gori leads free ceremonies, elopements and micro-weddings under the name Lovely Words, with around 240 ceremonies behind her since 2015. She holds to one ceremony per day, which keeps her attention on a single couple. The scripts are written from the couple's own story and their personal vows, and they leave with that love story written out and hand-lettered cards for their vows.

She works in Zurich German, High German and English, and is openly inclusive of same-sex and non-binary couples as a member of the Swiss Queer Wedding Association. Her background is in journalism and communication, and she belongs to the Swiss professional association for ceremony leaders. Based in Switzerland and covering the Zurich, Bern and Basel regions, she also travels across the country and abroad for destination weddings.
