Wortgeflitter ("Where Love Meets Words") is the ceremony business of Sabrina Sorci, a multilingual wedding celebrant based in the Zurich Oberland. She writes and leads freie Trauungen, symbolic wedding ceremonies, in German, English and Italian, and specializes in bilingual and multilingual weddings for international couples. Her site has full pages in English and Italian as well as German, publishes prices, and describes a clear booking process, which makes her easy for a couple abroad to assess from a distance.
Who she is
On the English page she introduces herself as "a multilingual wedding celebrant based in Switzerland, in the beautiful Zurich Oberland region", with Italian roots. The Italian page adds that she is a native Italian speaker ("Essendo madrelingua italiana") and that she understands "le sfumature culturali, le tradizioni e l'anima" (the cultural nuances, the traditions and the soul) behind every word and gesture.
Her About page is personal. She lives with her small family in the Zurich Oberland, loves long meals with friends and family, cooking, discovering new B&Bs, flowers, fashion and interiors, writing stories, languages, Italy and the sea. She always learns a few words of the local language when she travels. Friends, she writes, would call her humorous and a good listener, and she stays calm when things go off plan.
Her idea of the perfect ceremony: "eine moderne, humorvolle und ebenso emotionale Hochzeitsrede, mit Momenten von inniger Zweisamkeit und dem nötigen Tiefgang" (a modern, humorous and equally emotional speech, with moments of intimate togetherness and the necessary depth). The compliment that moves her most: "Es war so schön. Ich habe gedacht, du kennst die beiden schon ewig…" (it was so beautiful, I thought you had known the couple forever).
Multilingual ceremonies
This is her specialty. The English page says she likes to "weave languages and cultures into a harmonious ceremony", making sure every guest feels included and emotionally connected. She writes that she will go the extra mile to honor every culture involved, whether that means learning the proper Turkish or even Mandarin pronunciation, or including guest readings in a couple's own language.
Her reach is broad: "Whether it's in Switzerland, Italy or anywhere across Europe", and whether it is a big celebration with international guests, an intimate wedding or just the 2 of them. The Italian page adds a smile: "perché l'Italia è sempre l'Italia" (because Italy is always Italy).
The English page describes who she is for: couples who want a modern, intentional and carefully designed ceremony, and in her words, "If you're looking for an officiant who is warm, calm and approachable, yet professional and elegant, you've come to the right place!"
The Italian page describes her style in a line of contrasts: "Moderna, ma senza tempo, sofisticata, ma spontanea, elegante senza mai risultare costruita!" (modern but timeless, sophisticated but spontaneous, elegant without ever feeling contrived). She adds that she loves moments where lightness, depth and emotion sit together naturally: sincere tears, looks full of feeling and real, spontaneous laughter shared with the people the couple loves.
Prices
The German "Angebot" page lists:
- Classy, the classic freie Trauung in German, with ring exchange and vows if wanted: CHF 2,300
- Bilingual Wedding, in standard German, Italian and English: CHF 2,700
- Micro Storytelling, a shorter speech for an engagement party, a small celebration or an elopement: CHF 1,900
- Vow Renewal: CHF 1,900
- Hallo Welt!, a basic welcome ceremony for a baby with a small ritual: CHF 1,300
- Bilingual Welcome: CHF 1,700
- Wedding with welcome ceremony: individual quote
The English and Italian pages frame it slightly differently. The English page gives CHF 2,700 for a destination wedding ceremony in Switzerland and asks couples to get in touch for multilingual ceremonies or weddings in Italy, Germany or elsewhere in Europe. The Italian page gives CHF 2,700 for a ceremony in Italian and CHF 2,900 for a bilingual one, with individual quotes for destination weddings. A couple should confirm which figure applies to their language mix.
Every package includes a planning conversation, ideally at the couple's home; advice on the ceremony, including rituals, a running order and music; writing the speech; travel within Switzerland; her equipment (microphone and speaker); and the ceremony itself, about 30 to 45 minutes. For destination weddings outside Switzerland, travel is added at CHF 0.70 per km or included in a quote, and an overnight stay is charged as a flat fee agreed with the couple.
How booking works
- A free first meeting, without obligation. Her About page says she likes to start with a short phone call so couples can hear her voice.
- A CHF 500 deposit secures the date once both sides feel the spark.
- Preparation material. She sends a questionnaire, structured checklists and a first draft of the ceremony schedule.
- The main meeting, ideally at the couple's home, to go through their love story, the ups and downs, and the details that define them, and to refine the running order.
- Support until the day, for any question that comes up.
The contact form asks for names, email, phone, place of residence, the wedding date and location, and a short description of the couple and their ideal ceremony.
What the site does not settle
- Meetings from abroad. The main meeting is described as ideally at the couple's home. For couples living abroad, ask whether it can happen by video, or when she could meet them in Switzerland.
- Which price applies. The 3 language versions frame bilingual pricing differently, so get the figure in writing.
- Testimonials. The menu has a testimonials page and a gallery; the pages here do not reproduce them.

Who it suits
Wortgeflitter suits international and binational couples, especially those with Italian, German and English-speaking families, who want one celebrant to weave several languages into a single ceremony. The published prices and clear booking steps make her easy to plan with from abroad, and her willingness to travel across Europe helps couples who have not yet settled on a country. Couples should budget for travel outside Switzerland and check the language-specific price.
