11i-photography is the wedding photography of Elfi, a documentary photographer rooted in eastern Switzerland (the Ostschweiz). Her St. Gallen page calls the region her home, and the home page says she works across Switzerland and in Vorarlberg, the neighboring Austrian province, and also in other neighboring countries. She says she has photographed weddings for more than a decade, and the site's banner reads "Open for Bookings".
How she works
The home page sets out her approach in her own words: "Meine Arbeit ist leise. Ich warte auf den Blick, der passiert, nicht auf den, der gestellt wird. Auf das Lachen, das niemand bestellt hat. Auf die Stille zwischen zwei Menschen, die in keiner Planung steht." (My work is quiet. I wait for the look that happens, not the one that is posed. For the laughter nobody ordered. For the silence between two people that is in no plan.)
The St. Gallen page puts it more plainly: she does not believe in perfect poses but in real memories, she works quietly, and she does not arrange couples but accompanies them. The home page describes the result as pictures that tell the day as it really was, with no set and no pressure. It adds a line that says something about how she sees the finished work: what couples take home should hang on their wall, not sit on a phone.
In the section about herself she says her couples are not looking for perfection but for pictures they can look into in twenty years and say that is exactly how it was, and that she remembers the weddings she has covered because she saw what happened between the lines. The St. Gallen page adds that what drives her are the moments no one can plan: the laugh between two people who have just said yes, the look that happens while everyone else is looking elsewhere.
For couples, this is a clear style choice. A documentary photographer follows the day rather than directing it, so the album will show moments as they happened rather than a sequence of arranged group shots. Couples who want a long list of formal family portraits should say so early.
Where she works
The St. Gallen page names the places she knows best: the city of St. Gallen, the area around Lake Constance (the Bodensee), the Rheintal, the Toggenburg and the Appenzellerland. There she says she is not a guest but at home, which to her means no travel, no unfamiliar roads and no searching for the right light, because she knows where it is. The page mentions settings such as a free ceremony with a view of Lake Constance, a wedding in the Rheintal or an apéro in the Stiftsbezirk, the abbey district of St. Gallen.
Beyond that, the home page describes her range as from the Alps to Lake Constance and from Lake Zurich to Graubünden, and says she travels to wherever the couple's story takes place. The site has regional pages for St. Gallen, Zurich, Aargau, Graubünden, Appenzell, Thurgau, Lucerne, eastern Switzerland and Vorarlberg. Under the heading "Proudly Featured in", it shows three weddings and shoots: a ceremony in Thurgau, an engagement shoot in the snow in Appenzell, and an elopement in the Swiss mountains in Zermatt.
For a destination couple, the Zermatt elopement is the useful reference: it shows she takes on small mountain weddings far from her home region.
What she offers
Weddings are the core of the site, with menu sections for real weddings, tips and an FAQ. Alongside weddings, the site lists engagement shoots, family portraits, pregnancy and newborn sessions (Babybauch & Newborn) and boudoir photography.
The one review on the site shows what a wedding booking can include. Bernie and Fergus write that Elfi photographed their couple shoot and their wedding, and also the day before the wedding, when they held a welcome party for their guests, and that beautiful photos came out of all of it. They add: «Durch ihre sehr sympathische und freundliche Art haben wir uns von Anfang an gut verstanden» (thanks to her very likeable and friendly manner, we got on well from the start), and that working together was great fun. For a wedding weekend with guests traveling in, it is good to know she has covered a welcome party as well as the day itself.
Booking
The site invites couples to get in touch through a contact page ("Jetzt kontaktieren"), to check their date, or to book an introductory conversation. The closing section of the home page reads: "Gute Hochzeitsfotos beginnen nicht am Tag der Hochzeit." (Good wedding photos do not begin on the wedding day.) It goes on to say they begin with the right feeling and the right person, and enough time for both to come together, and asks couples to write while their date is still free. The St. Gallen page says she is there from the first message to the last hug in the evening.

What the site leaves open
The home and St. Gallen pages publish no prices or packages. They do not say how many hours a wedding day covers, whether a second photographer is available, how and when the photos are delivered, or whether albums or prints are part of the offer. Travel costs for weddings outside eastern Switzerland are not stated. The site is written in German and does not mention English, although the "Open for Bookings" banner is in English. Couples who do not speak German should write in English and ask whether she can guide the day and the group photos in English.
Who it suits
11i-photography suits couples who want quiet, documentary photography rather than a posed session, especially those marrying around St. Gallen, Lake Constance, the Rheintal or Appenzell, where she works on home ground. The Zermatt elopement and the regional pages show she also travels across Switzerland and into Vorarlberg, and the welcome-party review suits couples planning a weekend with guests from abroad. The caveats are the lack of published prices and packages and a German-only site, so the introductory conversation is where coverage, delivery and cost will be settled.
