Anouck Photographie

Tap a star to rate

Anouck Photographie is the studio of Anouck Sandoz, a photographer based at rue de la Poste 21 in St-Aubin-Sauges, in the canton of Neuchâtel. Her wedding page presents her as a wedding photographer "à Neuchâtel et dans toute la Suisse romande", in Neuchâtel and throughout French-speaking Switzerland, and her price page gives a starting figure for weddings. Weddings are one part of a wide portrait practice that also includes underwater, iris and corporate photography.

Her approach to weddings

The wedding page opens with the way she sees the day: "Un mariage, ce sont des instants vrais, intenses et éphémères", a wedding is made of true, intense and fleeting moments. She lists what she looks for: glances that say a lot, hands looking for each other, tears, spontaneous bursts of laughter. She calls a wedding "une parenthèse hors du temps", a pause outside time, full of sincere emotion.

Her approach, in her own three words, is "naturelle", "spontanée" and "centrée sur les émotions": natural, spontaneous and focused on emotion. She favors true moments, sincere gestures and small details that tell the couple's story, and she aims for images that are elegant, natural and lasting. Each image, she writes, becomes a living memory, a sincere testimony and a legacy of emotions to relive.

On the day itself she describes a discreet presence. She stays attentive but keeps in the background so that each moment can happen naturally, and she accompanies the couple simply so they can live their day fully. On the price page she adds that, present without being intrusive, she records the strong moments, subtle details and spontaneous emotions, telling the story of the marriage with accuracy, elegance and sincerity. She also says she adapts to each couple's world, since every wedding is different. The price page frames the choice of photographer in the same spirit: a wedding is a unique day full of emotion, symbols and moments that will not happen again, and choosing a photographer means entrusting the memory of that day to an attentive, reliable and deeply human eye.

Prices and travel

The price page has a section for weddings, anniversaries and private events.

  • Wedding reportage. On quote, from CHF 1,500.
  • Private event (3 to 4 hours). From CHF 750, adjustable to the length and type of event. This covers birthdays, family celebrations and other private events, where she describes blending into the atmosphere to catch the laughter and conversation without interrupting the event. It could suit a small civil ceremony and aperitif; that is a question for her.
  • Travel. Included up to Neuchâtel, which the page gives as 15 km; beyond that, CHF 1 per km.

The price page also describes what she means by her services in general: they go beyond taking pictures and include personal support at every stage, an approach that respects the client's pace, and artistic direction adapted to their world. Each session, she writes, is meant as a meeting, a space to slow down and create in confidence.

The wedding page also offers private online galleries for wedding and anniversary clients, reached through a "galerie privée" login on the page. The page shows one wedding in its gallery, Vanessa and Julien.

Where she works

Her wedding area is Neuchâtel and the whole of French-speaking Switzerland. The price page adds that she offers photography experiences in Suisse romande "et ponctuellement à l'étranger", and occasionally abroad. Her underwater work, for example, takes place at Cortaillod, at the Fontaines SPA in the Nord Vaudois, and every summer at La Croix-Valmer on the Côte d'Azur. For a wedding outside her home area, the per-kilometer travel charge makes the cost straightforward to estimate.

Other photography

The rest of the price page shows how wide her work is. She offers "couture" underwater sessions in flowing dresses, from CHF 690 to CHF 1,490; iris photography, turning a macro photo of an eye into a print, canvas or piece of jewelry, from CHF 150; outdoor portrait sessions in natural light from CHF 360; newborn sessions at home for CHF 460; a coaching-and-photography program called Renaissance; corporate reportage and team portraits; and official passport and ID photos in her studio. Some of these link to a wedding: an outdoor session in natural light, which she describes as suited to one person, a couple or a family, could serve as an engagement shoot, and the parachute dresses from her portrait work can be hired for outdoor sessions.

Booking and language

The wedding page closes with the line "Parce que votre histoire mérite d'être racontée avec le cœur" (because your story deserves to be told from the heart). It says dates are limited each season and invites couples to get in touch to discuss their wedding and reserve a date. The site gives her phone number, 079 463 20 28, and a contact page. It also links to general terms of sale (conditions générales de vente).

Everything on the site is in French, and it does not say whether she works in English. Couples who do not speak French should ask in their first message.

What the site does not settle

  • What the CHF 1,500 includes. The page gives a starting price on quote but no hours of coverage or number of images for weddings.
  • Delivery time. No turnaround is stated for wedding galleries.
  • Lead time. Dates are limited each season, but the site does not say how far ahead to book.
  • Deposit and cancellation. The wedding page does not state them; the site links to general terms of sale, which a couple should read before booking.
  • Language. English is not mentioned.
  • Video. No video service is offered.

Who it suits

Anouck Photographie suits couples marrying in Neuchâtel or elsewhere in French-speaking Switzerland who want a gentle, unobtrusive photographer and a clear starting budget. The published figure of CHF 1,500 for a wedding and the simple travel rate make early planning easier. The private-event rate may also interest couples planning a small celebration. The caveats for couples from abroad are that the site is in French only and that the wedding offer is described in outline, so the quote should spell out hours, number of images and delivery time.
