Castille ALMA is a wedding photographer and videographer who describes herself as based between Lyon and Thailand, specialized in wedding and family reportage, with a natural, artistic approach. She is a French photographer rather than a Swiss one, and most of the weddings on her blog are in the Lyon area, the Beaujolais and elsewhere in France. Her footer, though, calls her a destination wedding photographer worldwide and lists Zurich among a long string of cities, and her site carries a full story of a winter wedding at the Guarda Golf Hotel in Crans-Montana, in the Valais. Her site is written in French, with a separate English contact page linked in the footer. Bookings for the 2027 season are open.
The Crans-Montana wedding
Her Swiss reference is the wedding of Emilie and Anthony at the Guarda Golf Hotel, a luxury hotel in the ski resort of Crans-Montana, held in winter. She writes that when they asked her to photograph it she was delighted to combine her "deux passions : la photographie de mariage et la montagne" (two passions, wedding photography and the mountains), and that the snowy landscape made an ideal backdrop for wedding pictures.
The story is also written as a short case for a winter wedding in the resort, and it is her description, not ours. She calls Crans-Montana an ideal place to marry in winter, known for its alpine charm and its views across the Alps. She writes that the hotel offers spacious, comfortable rooms and good service for couples and their guests, and that its staff can help organize the details of a wedding such as decoration, music and catering. She adds that the resort offers guests activities such as skiing, snowshoe walks, dance evenings and night-time bathing.
The supplier credits at the end name the Guarda Golf Hotel as reception venue and caterer, with a separate videographer, Aurélia Planterose. For that wedding, then, Castille took the photographs and someone else filmed. The page also shows how her galleries work: there are separate access points for the couple and for guests, and guests can view and download the photos with a password the couple passes on.
The packages
Her rates page names three wedding packages, each after a mountain:
- Mont Blanc: photo reportage up to the cocktail reception, including group and couple photos, and a private gallery to download all the photos.
- Mont Fuji: photo reportage up to the dance floor, with couple and group photos and the same private gallery.
- Everest: photo and video reportage up to the dance floor, with group and couple photos and a private gallery holding all the photos and the video. She writes that Everest includes a teaser and the complete film, shot and edited in the same artistic, natural and emotional style as her photos, with no kitsch transitions and no forced voice-over.
Every package, she says, comes with a complete guide to help organize the wedding, an online planning tool, and her full availability to answer questions at every stage. She also offers extras: a Love Session before the wedding, coverage of the welcome dinner the evening before, a second shooter for photo or video, a video teaser delivered a few days after the wedding, a Day After session, and help with the day's timeline, which she presents as a way of placing each moment where the light and setting suit the photos.
Some of her premium packages also include an artistic pre-wedding session. It is not a love session: she picks the place, the time and the concept, then gives the couple a few prompts, makes them move, laugh, slow down and run, and watches. Her point is that by the wedding day the couple already know how she works. Couples who want to choose the setting themselves can book a Love Session instead, or her signature session, called Légende.
Video
The video page offers three formats. The film runs 15 to 25 minutes and covers the day from preparations through the ceremony and speeches to the dancing. The teaser is a short, fast cut of five minutes at most. The Flashback is a reel of 45 seconds to 1 minute, in vertical or horizontal format, delivered within 24 hours for sharing on Instagram, TikTok or WhatsApp. An add-on to the Flashback delivers the raw vertical clips behind it, at least 15 short unedited sequences, also within 24 hours.
Price
No price appears on the pages. She writes that every story is unique, so her rates adapt, and asks couples to fill in the form to receive her detailed rates and all the options, which she says include weddings abroad. She adds that dates go fast in high season. The rates page lists the questions she wants answered: whether the civil ceremony is on the same day, whether there is a brunch the next day, and whether the couple prefer a printed album or digital files.
Contact
The form asks for an email address and a phone number, noting that she is much more responsive on WhatsApp, then whether the couple already know the date and place, and for the essentials: the story, the mood, the venue, three obsessions and why they want her. Couples who only have dates can simply give their availability and set up a video call. Her footer gives hello@castillealma.com and a French number, +33 661 746 340.
What the site does not settle
For a couple marrying in Switzerland, the open questions are practical. The site does not publish travel costs for a wedding outside France, or whether accommodation in a resort such as Crans-Montana is charged to the couple. It does not say which languages she works in; the site is in French, and the English contact page is the only sign of English. Her one Swiss story used a separate videographer, so a couple wanting her own video in Switzerland should confirm that the Everest package travels too. Delivery times for the photos are not stated.
Who it suits
Castille ALMA suits couples who want a photographer with a strong, playful voice, clear packages and optional video, and who are happy to bring her in from France for a Swiss wedding, especially a winter or mountain wedding like the one she shows at the Guarda Golf Hotel. Her blog and pre-wedding concept suit couples who would rather not pose much.
She suits less well couples who want a Swiss-based photographer with local knowledge across many venues, or who need a price before first contact. Her Swiss portfolio on the site is one wedding. That is an honest starting point rather than a drawback, but it is worth knowing.
