Felix Peter Photography is the wedding business of Felix Peter, a photographer based in Worb near Bern who covers Bern, Thun and the rest of Switzerland. His site, HochzeitsReporter.ch, is unusually transparent: five wedding packages with hours, image counts, delivery times and prices, plus a priced list of extras.

Who he is

The about page introduces Felix Peter as a full-time professional photographer since 2009, working in wedding photography, portraits, studio and family photography, and as a workshop leader. Elsewhere the site signs him off as "Professional Memory-Creator since 2005." He also runs a broader studio, FotoGigant, for corporate, fashion and advertising work, and the contact email uses that name.

Weddings, he writes, have always mattered most to him: the particular energy, the excitement and the emotions still carry him along "auch nach 500 Hochzeiten" (even after 500 weddings). He describes himself as a calm and relaxed person, adds that couples see him the same way and value that calm, and says his aim is always to surprise and delight his couples with wonderful photos. The page headline, "Foto-Yoga by Felix," and its subtitle about humor making everything easier set the tone.

His stated drive is to create expressive, elegant images that a couple will still look at with pride after 20 or 30 years. Under the heading that good wedding pictures are rarely an accident, he lists what he covers: engagement shoots, invitation design with a photo shoot, wedding reportages, couple shoots, ceremony and aperitif photos, natural, romantic and fun pictures of the couple and the whole wedding party, online galleries, album design, and editing and beauty retouching.

The five packages

Ziviler, up to 3h, CHF 880. A preliminary talk by phone or email, a civil-wedding reportage of up to 3 hours (for example a couple shoot, the ceremony and the aperitif), about 700 photos, all delivered for free use as a download within 5 days.

Silber, up to 6h, CHF 2180. A preliminary talk and planning meeting in Worb, a wedding reportage of up to 6 hours with about 1600 photos, for example a first look, the couple shoot, the ceremony and the aperitif. All images get basic correction (brightness, color, contrast). A sneak preview of the first few photos arrives by WhatsApp within 24h, and all images are delivered as a download within 7 days.

Gold, up to 8h, CHF 2480. As Silber, extended to up to 8 hours and about 2000 photos, adding the couple's final preparations.

Diamant, up to 12h, CHF 2980. A full-day reportage of up to 12 hours and about 2500 photos, from the final preparations through the first look, couple shoot, ceremony and aperitif to the dinner, with the same corrections, WhatsApp preview and 7-day delivery.

All Inclusive, unlimited, CHF 7850. Two preliminary talks and planning meetings, a large couple shoot in the studio or outdoors for the invitation card, design of the invitation and thank-you card motifs, an unlimited full-day reportage with about 3500 photos, all travel costs up to 150km, a photo booth corner with remote release, special editing of the best 30 images, an online gallery of the best 600 images within 48h, and a genuine-leather wedding album design with one 30x30cm master album and two 20x20cm albums, plus the preview and 7-day download.

For a couple budgeting from abroad, the jump between tiers is mostly hours. The Diamant package covers a full day including dinner for CHF 2980, and the All Inclusive price reflects the albums, the invitation shoot and the design work bundled in.

Extras

The price page lists add-ons that can be booked with any package:

  • Online gallery within 48h, Fr. 190. A selection of the best 300 to 400 images in a gallery that guests can see within 48 hours of the wedding, accessible only by link and kept online for at least 5 years.
  • Edits, 10 images for Fr. 150. Special editing of 10 pictures. Other retouching or artistic reworking is charged at Fr. 100 per hour.
  • Wedding album from Fr. 850. Designed to the couple's wishes, from a 10x15cm pocket size to an oversize 30x40cm and from 20 to 200 pages, with covers in several leathers, Japanese silk or velvet.
  • Photo booth corner, Fr. 150. A camera and flash with a remote release so guests can photograph themselves. There is no printing; the couple receive all the photos digitally.
  • Artistic painting by Eligio, from 350 euros. A hand-painted artwork by the Italian painter Eligio Montedoro in Florence, made from the couple's favorite wedding photo, in formats up to 70x100cm, in acrylic or oil color or in black-and-white charcoal.

Booking and contact

Everything, from packages to extras, can be ordered or quoted through the contact form. He also invites couples to call or send a WhatsApp or email for a free consultation. The listed details are +41786604799 and info@fotogigant.ch, with the business address given as CH-3076 Worb. The planning meetings in the larger packages take place in Worb.

What the site does not settle

The site is in German, with a few English headlines ("your perfect day," "Customer Reviews"), and it does not say whether he works in English. Couples who need English on the day should ask.

The page does not state travel costs outside the All Inclusive package, whose 150km allowance is the only travel figure given. It gives no deposit or cancellation terms on the price page (the site links to general terms), and it does not say how far ahead he books up. The meetings in Worb are practical for local couples but something to discuss for couples who live abroad.

Who he suits

Felix Peter suits couples marrying in and around Bern and Thun who want to know exactly what they get for their money. The packages are clear, the image counts are high, delivery is fast, and the WhatsApp preview within 24 hours is a nice touch for couples who want to share a first picture the morning after. The CHF 880 civil package is a straightforward option for a registry-office wedding with a short couple shoot.

He suits less well couples who want a small, tightly edited set of images rather than thousands of lightly corrected ones, or who need English confirmed before booking. Both are easy to raise in the first call.
