Herzfluter
Tap a star to rate
Herzfluter is a German wedding photography and film business that covers Germany, Austria and Switzerland from a team of photographers and videographers, and publishes a dedicated page for Zurich. It sells fixed packages in euros, adds photo booths, a photo mirror and a 360° video booth as extras, and states a rating of 4.96 out of 5 from 112 reviews. For a couple from abroad marrying in or around Zurich, it is a large, systematized option with clear prices and a backup guarantee, rather than a single local photographer.
What the Zurich page promises
The page describes the team working "zwischen Bahnhofstrasse, Zürichsee und den eleganten Hanglagen über der Stadt" (between Bahnhofstrasse, Lake Zurich and the elegant hillsides above the city), and says Zurich combines "Schweizer Präzision mit internationalem Flair", Swiss precision with international flair, which it says its visual style mirrors. It names weddings at the Dolder Grand, the Park Hyatt and Schloss Au on the lake, and describes its reportages as using the clear Swiss light, the view of the Alps and the old town. For photography the tagline is clear, elegant, Swiss precision; for film it is cinematic with lake and Alpine panoramas, calmly edited.
The page lists popular venues (Dolder Grand, Park Hyatt Zürich, Schloss Au, Belvoirpark, Storchen Zürich), the team's favorite spots for couple shoots (Lindenhof, the lakeshore, Üetliberg, the lanes of the Niederdorf) and the districts it often works in: Kreis 1 old town, Kreis 4, Kreis 6 Unterstrass, Wollishofen and Zürichberg. It also names nearby places it travels to: Winterthur, Zug, Luzern, Rapperswil and Schaffhausen.
On season, it says May to September, with high summer on the lake the premium period, and advises booking early. The FAQ is more precise: popular dates between May and September in Zurich are often taken 9 to 12 months ahead, while civil ceremonies and winter dates are usually possible at shorter notice.
Packages and prices
Prices on the Zurich page are in euros and shown as promotional prices, with a higher regular price crossed out.

- Silber: 8 hours, 400–700 photos, free photo booth, €1.599 (regular €1.899).

For film, the FAQ gives the Small Film from €1.599, with 8 hours of coverage and a highlight film of about 5 minutes, and the Highlightfilm with 12 hours for €1.699. Photo and video combined, from one team, starts at €2.999. An individual package can be put together with a custom number of hours, a film of any length, optional drone shots, a second photographer or videographer, an after-wedding shoot or a civil ceremony, priced on request.
What is included
The page lists nine inclusions. Couples choose their photographer or videographer from the team by individual style, and after booking they pick an editing style. A personal preliminary meeting with the photographer takes place by video call. All images are retouched, included in the price, and the finished edited photos arrive in about 14 days. The "Ausfallschutz" (cover for illness) promises a replacement if the photographer falls ill. The business describes itself as having more than 10 years of experience and several awards, and the page header mentions several hundred weddings a year.
The team members named in the reviews are Felix, Johanna, Marc, Kevin, Ramona, Maria, Bianca and Nils. One couple write of "etwa 900 wunderschön bearbeitete Aufnahmen" (about 900 beautifully edited photos) and say the team worked "äußerst professionell und mit aufrichtigem Engagement" (extremely professionally and with sincere commitment). Another couple received over 1000 photos after 10 hours with Bianca, and another say of Johanna's work that "die Bilder sind ein absoluter Traum" (the pictures are an absolute dream). The one Zurich voice on the page is Elena and Marc at the Dolder Grand, who call the work "Hochwertig, präzise, und doch voller Emotion" (high quality, precise and still full of emotion) and perfect for Zurich.
Booking
The process runs in six steps: an inquiry through the form (the page estimates 5 minutes, and promises a personal reply within 24 hours), a free, no-obligation first conversation, the booking, a preliminary meeting, the wedding, and editing and delivery. The page's guarantees are no travel costs, a backup photographer, a best-price guarantee and an answer within 24 hours. Contact is +49 1579 2527388 or info@herzfluter.de, both German.
Travel costs: read closely
The page says several different things about travel. The guarantees and the FAQ state that there are no travel costs, that travel to Zurich and the region is always free, and that the team travels to the surrounding towns at no charge. The introduction, however, says travel to Zurich and the whole of Switzerland is on request, and the package cards themselves promise no travel costs "Deutschlandweit", within Germany. A couple marrying at a Swiss venue, especially one outside the Zurich area, should get the travel terms confirmed in writing with the quote.
What the page leaves open
The site is written in German, and the page does not state which languages the photographers work in, though the footer mentions destination weddings worldwide. It does not say where in Germany the business is based or where the photographer assigned to a Zurich wedding would travel from. Cancellation and date-change terms are in the general terms and conditions rather than on this page. The euro pricing means a Swiss couple pays in a foreign currency.
Who it suits
Herzfluter suits a couple who want predictable, published prices, a choice of photographer from a large team, fast delivery and a guaranteed replacement, and who are happy booking a German company for a wedding in Zurich, Zug, Lucerne or nearby. Three of the four day packages include a photo booth, which saves hiring a separate booth supplier. One review from a wedding in Köln adds a detail that says something about preparation: the photographer knew the names of all the guests on the day without having met them before, and still produced good pictures in the rain. The caveats are the conflicting travel statements, the lack of a named Swiss base, and a German-only site that leaves the working language to be confirmed.
