A Central Swiss Photographer With Mountain Weddings in Her Portfolio

Tina Bürgler Fotografie is the business of photographer Tina Bürgler, based at Rickenbachstrasse 158b in 6432 Rickenbach, in the canton of Schwyz. She introduces herself as a photographer from the Muotathal and says she can be booked in the regions of Lucerne, Zug, Uri, Schwyz, Obwalden, Nidwalden and Zurich, and across Switzerland. Her homepage gives the headline numbers: 10+ years of experience, 100+ weddings photographed and 400+ shoots.

Weddings are the center of the site, but not the whole of it. The menu also lists couple, pregnancy, newborn, family, baby and portrait shoots, business reportage, landscape work, school photography and an alpaca experience. On the business side, she offers pictures for company websites and event coverage.

Her Approach

The homepage describes photography as far more than taking pictures: catching emotions, keeping moments for good and telling stories. She wants to show people as they really are, authentic and full of life and love, and she likes the small, often unnoticed details. Her main focus, she writes, is on real, unposed moments.

The wedding page makes the working method concrete. The couple shoot is guided with simple tasks, and nobody is pushed into stiff, unnatural poses. The wedding day itself she photographs in reportage style: she is always there, but gives no instructions and does not step into what is happening. The reportage page sums up the style as "authentisch - lebendig - natürlich" (authentic, lively, natural) and says she loves photographing in the moment, "ohne schnickschnack" (without frills). At a wedding, she writes, she looks for spontaneous moments and records even almost invisible details.

Where She Has Worked

The reportage page lists past weddings, each with the couple's first names and the place, and each opens a gallery. For a couple choosing a venue in central Switzerland, the list is a useful map of the range: church weddings at the Kapelle 14 Nothelfer in Silenen, the Jagdmattkapelle in Erstfeld, the Kapelle Dottenberg in Adligenswil, the Kapelle Holzegg and Kapelle Haggenegg in Schwyz, the Kapelle Pragelpass in the Muotathal, the Kollegi church in Schwyz and the Kapelle St. Georg in Arth; civil ceremonies at the Parktower in Zug, the Rathaus Schwyz, the Spittel in Schwyz, in Küssnacht and at the town hall in Zug's old town; and free ceremonies at the Husky Lodge in the Muotathal, the Schüür zum Hirschpark in Lucerne, Eggbergen, the SAC Lidernen hut, Hof Landschi in Küssnacht, the Eigenthal, Schloss Liebegg in Gränichen, the Horse Shoe in Arth and aboard the Schiff Aurora. There is also a mountain wedding in the Muotathal, a wedding party at the SAC Eseltritt hut and an after-wedding shoot on the Stoos.

That mix of mountain huts, chapels on passes and lake settings is the strongest signal on the site for couples planning an alpine or outdoor wedding in the region.

After-Wedding Shoot, CHF 600

The one wedding-related service with a published price is the after-wedding shoot. The page explains the idea: the wedding day flies by, full of emotion and schedules, with little time for the couple, so days, weeks or even months later they put on their wedding clothes again for a shoot without stress, guests or time pressure. Mountain summit, beach, forest clearing or urban style in town: they shoot wherever the couple wants, at the best time of day, for example at sunset.

For CHF 600, the package includes a 60-90 minute shoot, around 120 optimized images, an outdoor location of the couple's choice, her selection of the successful pictures, images in color and some in black and white, optimization in her style (without beauty retouching), and high-resolution JPEG and web-size downloads. Travel of 50 km is included; further kilometers cost CHF 2 each, charged even when traveling together, for the extra travel time. Private usage rights are included: private social media, printing, gifts, but no commercial use. Shoots run from April to October on Monday to Thursday evenings or Monday to Friday during the day, and in the winter season during the day, since it gets dark earlier.

Publication Rights and the 20% Option

All her shoot prices include shared usage rights, meaning she may use the photos for advertising without asking again, anonymously if wished. She explains why: her business lives from real pictures, and everyone looks at photos before booking to see how a photographer works. Couples who do not want their pictures published should tell her before the shoot; the price then rises by 20% and they receive the sole usage rights. She also points couples to her general terms and conditions (AGB) for payment and image rights.

Albums

The wedding page offers an individual wedding album, arguing that only after the wedding do couples realize how valuable their photos are, and that a professional photo book brings back the day and its emotions.

Booking

Inquiries go through the contact form, which asks for names, address, mobile number, email, Instagram profile (in case her email does not arrive), the type of shoot, a description of the couple and their wishes, the number of people and how they found her. Couples must accept the AGB and privacy policy to send it, and receive a copy of their inquiry by email. She asks for as many details as possible, including place, date and venue, and promises to reply as quickly as possible. The site lists no phone number or email address of her own.

What the Site Leaves Open

The site is in German only and says nothing about English. There is no published price for a wedding reportage, no statement of hours, number of images or delivery time for a wedding, and no travel terms for weddings beyond the rates on the after-wedding page. Those are the questions for the inquiry.

Who She Suits

Tina Bürgler suits couples marrying in central Switzerland who want relaxed, instruction-free reportage, particularly at a chapel, a mountain hut or another outdoor venue in the Schwyz and Uri area. The after-wedding shoot is a clear, priced option for couples who want unhurried portraits on a summit or at a lake. Couples who need English, or who want to budget the wedding day before writing, will have to ask.
