Stretchlimo-Luzern

Stretchlimo-Luzern is a chauffeured limousine service run by Markus Blaser from Sinserstrasse 14 in Ballwil, in the Seetal region of the canton of Lucerne. Its wedding offer centers on a white Lincoln Town Car stretch limousine, and the site publishes its wedding packages with prices, what they include and how the hours are counted. A VW Beetle called "Princess" is the second, smaller option. For a couple marrying in the Lucerne region who want a formal, fully organized limousine arrival, this is a clear offer to compare against others.

The wedding limousine

The overview page describes the wedding car simply: "Verfügbar ist ein eleganter Lincoln Town Car in weiss" (an elegant white Lincoln Town Car is available). The home page adds the scene the business has in mind, with the couple sinking into generous leather for a quiet moment with their witness, and a cool drink from the champagne bar on the way.

The wedding page is unusually outspoken. It sets out what a perfect wedding car means to the company: no rust, no dents, a perfectly washed car, a clean interior, rims and tires so clean you could eat off them, a chauffeur in a suit and tie who opens the doors for the guests and does not smoke among them. It then says plainly that what it sees rented out at other weddings appalls it, and urges couples to look at any limousine in person before booking, because once a worn car is standing in front of the church there is nothing left to do. It is a strong sales pitch, but the advice to inspect the car beforehand is sound, and the company invites couples to come by and discuss everything.

The packages and prices

The price tab lists 3 wedding packages, all for the stretch limousine only:

• Hochzeit paus. (flat rate): from CHF 630 for 1.5 to 2 hours, including real flowers worth CHF 150 and 1 bottle of Prosecco
• Hochzeit mini: CHF 890 for 3 to 4 hours from the limousine's base, with the same flowers and 1 Prosecco
• Hochzeit maxi: CHF 1250 for 6 to 7 hours from the limousine's base, with the flowers and 2 bottles of sparkling wine or 1 Moët

The page stresses that time is always counted from the limousine's base and back again. For a venue some way from Ballwil, travel time eats into the package, so ask which package a given route needs.

The info tab lists what the flat rates include: still mineral water, a chauffeur in a suit, on request a chauffeur with cap and white gloves at no charge, on request a red carpet at no charge, a fresh real rose heart in the color of your choice (valued at Fr. 150) that the couple may keep, VAT, fuel and the chauffeur's expenses, with a maximum of 300 km. Artificial flower hearts can be rented from Fr. 30. Custom quotes are available by phone or through the request form. Below the prices, the wedding page shows a gallery of past events and, as a small extra, offers a downloadable list of the traditional names for wedding anniversaries.

Flowers on the car

The flower tab explains that the company works with a florist and can order a fresh bouquet or a rose heart, with fresh decorations on the radiator or the hood from Fr. 150. It shows named examples: "All for Love" (a standard real heart), "Sweet Love" (double pink hearts), "Fire Pearls" (five small teardrop hearts), "Little Sugar" (on both mirrors) and "Classic Blumen" on the radiator. The partner page lists Blumen Villiger among the businesses the company works with, along with a bridal fashion shop and a wedding planning firm.

The VW Beetle "Princess"

The Beetle page is short. It calls the VW Käfer a car that shaped automotive history like no other and suggests it for photo shoots, birthdays, weddings, exhibitions, advertising and stag parties, with the note "Vermietung nur mit Chauffeur" (rented only with a chauffeur). No price, color or seat count is given, so the Beetle needs a quote.

Service standards

The about page lists the company's promises. Every chauffeur is an experienced employee holding a professional passenger transport license and is dressed in a suit. The limousines are approved for commercial passenger transport and insured accordingly, pass the annual road traffic office inspection and are serviced on schedule. Each car is checked before every job, the inventory is checked and the car cleaned after every ride, and all glasses go through the dishwasher after each event. Email reservations get an answer within 24 hours, and short-notice bookings are possible by phone.

The home page says the business has offered unusual vehicles for years, names branches in Lucerne, Kriens, the Seetal and Ballwil, and says it travels throughout Switzerland. An Easter competition in 2024 offered a 60-minute stretch limousine ride for eight people, which gives a sense of the car's size, although the site does not state a seat count for weddings.

What the site does not settle

The site is entirely in German and makes no mention of English, so a couple from abroad should expect to write in German or rely on a translation, and to ask whether the chauffeur speaks English. It gives no cancellation or deposit terms on the wedding page; the general terms are linked in the footer. The 300 km cap is clear, but the site does not say what happens beyond it. There is no mention of guest shuttles or more than one limousine being available on the same day. The site states no lead time for booking.

Who it suits

Stretchlimo-Luzern suits a couple marrying around Lucerne or the Seetal who want a classic white stretch limousine, formal service and a price they can see before asking. The packages include flowers and drinks, so there is little to organize separately.

It suits less well a couple who want a vintage car as the main vehicle, need several cars for guests, or are marrying far from Ballwil, where the base-to-base timing adds cost. And for anyone who does not read German, the booking conversation will take more effort than with an English-speaking provider.
