VW Bus Bern

VW Bus Bern hires out vintage VW buses with a chauffeur, working out of Bern-Bümpliz. The orange T2 dates from 1975 and seats six including the driver, while the ecru T1 from 1963 seats seven and is recognisable by its split front windscreen and folding panorama roof. The T1 can be picked up from either Bern or Chur in Graubünden, which extends their reach into eastern Switzerland.

As a wedding car the buses are decorated and driven for you, and the company also offers route planning so you arrive on time. The same buses run a second life as the Photobus, a photo booth built into the VW that can be combined with the wedding hire. Every trip is carbon-compensated through the Swiss myclimate foundation, with a certificate sent afterwards. The site is in German.
