A lakefront hotel with published wedding packages
Beau-Rivage Genève is a 5-star hotel at 13 Quai du Mont-Blanc in Geneva, and one of the few Swiss wedding venues that puts its prices on its wedding page. The page, published in English and in French, offers 3 wedding packages built around the cooking of Chef Mathieu Croze, invites couples to ask for a tailor-made menu, and gives a direct line to the banquets team. The hotel's site presents the house under the headings "Since 1865" and "History in the Making", and it has 52 rooms and 43 suites, so guests flying in can stay under the same roof as the celebration.
The 3 packages
All 3 packages share a structure: an aperitif, a gastronomic menu by Chef Croze ending with the wedding cake and a glass of Champagne Deutz for the toast, wines and mineral waters during the meal, coffee and mignardises, and printed menus. What changes between them is the aperitif and the number of courses.
Beau-Rivage, CHF 160 per person. Aperitif with wines, fruit juices, sodas and mineral waters, served with salty mixes. The menu has one starter and one main course before the wedding cake.
Prestige, CHF 210 per person. The same aperitif drinks, with 3 savory creations in place of the mixes. The menu has one starter and 2 main courses before the cake.
Imperial, CHF 260 per person. The aperitif adds Champagne Deutz to the wines and soft drinks and comes with 5 savory creations. The menu has one starter, 2 main courses and a pre-dessert before the cake.
For an outsider trying to budget a Geneva wedding, these figures are unusually useful: they give a per-head price for the food and the drinks that go with it, from the aperitif to the coffee. Each package links to a brochure with more detail. The page also says the chef creates a tailor-made menu, so the packages are a starting point rather than the only choice. Its own framing is that the couple is unique and should choose the package that reflects who they are.
What the per-person price does not tell you
The packages cover food and drinks. The wedding page does not publish a room hire fee, a minimum spend, a minimum number of guests or a maximum capacity. It does not name the rooms used for weddings, and it does not say whether a ceremony can be held at the hotel or whether the page is aimed at the reception only. It gives no information on decoration, flowers, music or how late a party can run, and nothing on deposits, cancellation terms or how far ahead to book. All of that belongs in the first email to the banquets team, together with the expected guest count, since the per-person prices only become a budget once the fixed costs are known.
Rooms for the wedding party and guests
The hotel's rooms page lists its categories with sizes, which helps a couple plan where parents, the wedding party and guests will sleep. The rooms are the Deluxe Ville View (30 m2), Premier Ville View (35 m2), Prestige Ville View (45 m2) and Prestige Lake View (35 m2), the last with a view of the bay of Geneva. The Junior Suites include the Ville View (50 m2), the Lake View and Lake View Panorama (45 m2 each), the Prestige Junior Suite Lake View (50 m2), which the hotel says overlooks Lake Geneva and the Jet d'Eau, and a Rooftop Junior Suite (50 m2) on the top floor with a large terrace and a Jacuzzi. The hotel notes that the Jacuzzi is subject to availability at check-in unless guaranteed with a supplement before arrival.
The suites go up in size from the Beau-Rivage Suite (75 m2) through the Heritage Suite Lake View (90 m2, with frescoes and moldings on the ceilings), the Maharadja Suite (105 m2), the Empress Sissi Suite (110 m2) and the Imperial Suite (115 m2), to the Presidential Suite (165 m2) and the two-bedroom Royal Residence (240 m2). There are also 6 Penthouse duplexes of 90 to 130 m2 on the top floor, some of which connect with adjoining rooms. For a couple wanting a suite on the wedding night and family rooms nearby, the page's note on interconnecting rooms is worth asking about. The hotel also warns that because of the building's configuration, views and layouts can differ within the same category.
The rooms page does not publish room rates, and the wedding page says nothing about a room block or a group rate for wedding guests.
Around the celebration
The hotel's site names its own restaurants and bar: Le Chat-Botté, the Rivage Café, a brunch and a wine cellar. Room service runs 7 days a week, with breakfast in the room from 6:30 AM to 12 PM and meals from 12 PM to 11 PM, which is practical for a wedding party getting ready in the morning. A 360 virtual tour is linked from the site for couples who cannot visit before booking.
Contact and language
The wedding page gives the banquets email, banquets@beau-rivage.ch, and the number +41 22 716 69 37 for wedding enquiries, plus a contact button. The hotel's general reception is +41 22 716 66 66 and reservation@beau-rivage.com. The site is fully available in English and French, and the wedding page itself is published in English, so a couple planning from abroad can read the offer without translation.
The page gives no directions from Geneva airport or the main station; the site has a separate "How to find us" section for that, which the couple can point guests to.
Who it suits
Beau-Rivage Genève suits couples who want a formal, food-led wedding in the center of Geneva with guests staying in the same hotel, and who value knowing the per-head cost of dinner before they write the first email. It suits an international guest list well, given the English-language wedding page and the range of rooms. The caveats are that the published prices cover menus only, the page is silent on room hire, capacity and ceremony options, and this is an urban hotel on the quay, not a secluded countryside estate.
