Story Of Your Day

Story Of Your Day is led by Emma Wilson, who spent years at the BBC as a videojournalist and reporter before turning to weddings. That background shows in the work, which leans documentary and follows the day as it unfolds rather than staging set pieces for a short trailer. She directs, films and edits the full-length films herself, and rather than fixed packages she shapes each commission around the scale of the wedding.

She is based in Wengen, the car-free village above the Lauterbrunnen valley in the Bernese Oberland, and films across Switzerland, around Europe and worldwide as a destination videographer. Alongside full weddings she covers elopements, proposals and Alpine and ski weddings, and she can ski while filming and reach venues by helicopter or on a glacier. The studio is Swisstainable certified and a Leave No Trace partner. The work is in English, with French and German versions of the site available.
