Belle's Secondhand Brautmode

Belle's Secondhand Brautmode is run by Corinne Consenti from a fourth-floor space at Zürcherstrasse 47 in Wetzikon, east of Zurich. The model is second-hand: gowns are sold rather than rented, in sizes 34 to 46, and a dress only goes on the rail if it is no more than three years old, free of stains and tears, and professionally cleaned. Some pieces are new and unworn. That screening keeps the selection current instead of dated.

The boutique also takes dresses on consignment, so brides can pass their own gown on after the day. Veils, shoes, bags and tiaras are stocked to round out the outfit. Fittings are by appointment, and the service runs in German and English.
