A cocktail caterer from Kreuzlingen with published packages

Drinkery, which also calls itself The Drinkery, is a cocktail-catering business based at Hafenstrasse 4, 8280 Kreuzlingen, run by Damian Wüest and Mathis Pisana, who are both listed with their own phone numbers. The homepage headline promises tailored drinks and professional bartenders "überall in der Schweiz" (anywhere in Switzerland), and the catering section names weddings first: "Ob Hochzeit, Geburtstagsparty oder Firmenevent" (whether a wedding, a birthday party or a company event), the business brings a mobile bar, cocktails and service to the client.

Two things make the site more useful than a bare contact page. It publishes a structure of three packages with per-person price steps between them, and it states a guest range: events of every size, "von 20 bis über 500 Gästen" (from 20 to over 500 guests).

What the catering includes

The core line describing the service is plain: "Wir bringen eine voll ausgestattete Bar inklusive Barkeeper, Equipment, Spirituosen & Deko" (we bring a fully equipped bar including bartenders, equipment, spirits and decoration). The same line adds that clients can choose one of three packages or put together their own combination.

The drinks range runs from long drinks and beer to signature cocktails; the site gives the example of an Espresso Martini served in a crystal glass, and says every selection can be tailored to the event and its guests. The business frames the pricing as a flexible model: each package offers a different selection of drinks and presentation, from classic cocktails to signature drinks with elaborate decoration.

The ingredients get a section of their own. Freshly pressed lemon juice and homemade syrups and purees are, in the site's words, "absolute Pflicht" (an absolute must), and all ingredients are prepared shortly before the event and made fresh for each booking. For larger events, the team also makes prebatched cocktails so that more guests can be served in less time, and the site says these are always freshly prepared too and match the other cocktails in quality. For a big wedding, that is the answer to the obvious worry about a queue at the bar after dinner.

The three packages

Basic. A choice of five uncomplicated, popular cocktails built directly in the glass, without a shaker, served in classic glasses with simple garnishes such as lime, orange wheels or fresh mint. On request, individual premium or shaken drinks can be added for a surcharge of 2 francs per person and drink.

Premium (+10 CHF per person). A wider range with unlimited cocktails, including more complex shaken drinks and different preparation methods, finished with homemade syrups, freshly pressed juices, purees and matching decoration.

Deluxe (+20 CHF per person). Maximum freedom in the drinks choice, including signature drinks, individual creations and cocktails made with egg white. Only premium spirits are used, with clear ice, large ice cubes and decorations developed specifically for the event. The site calls it the most exclusive form of its mobile catering.

The surcharges are stated relative to the Basic package, and the site does not publish the Basic price itself, so the per-person figures cannot be turned into a total without a quote. The site's navigation includes an "Offerte erstellen" (create a quote) page for that purpose.

Other services worth knowing about

Besides the staffed bar, the site lists three related offers. Can Cocktails are the business's own cocktails in cans, hand-mixed and ready to open. The Zapfwagen is a handmade tap trailer that serves chilled beer or cocktails on draft, rented out under the name "Bier- & Cocktailwagen". Cocktail courses teach popular drinks and bartending skills in a relaxed setting.

For a wedding, the tap trailer could cover the beer at a large reception alongside or instead of the cocktail bar, and a cocktail course could serve as a pre-wedding group activity. The site does not give prices for these three offers.

What the reviews describe

The homepage shows a set of Google reviews. Two describe cocktail courses. One describes a 30th birthday with 30 guests, organized as a surprise, and another a client's birthday for 70 people at Lake Constance, booked by a planner who praises quick replies and flexibility from start to finish. One review, in English, calls the service outstanding and recommends it for weddings, but none of the reviews on the page describes a wedding the business worked. The reviewers mention Damian and Mathis by name, and the planner's review describes working with the two of them directly from the first contact to the follow-up after the event.

What the site does not settle

  • Base price. The Basic package has no published price, so the budget question stays open until a quote.
  • Staffing. The site does not say how many bartenders come for a given guest count.
  • Duration and extras. Service hours, travel costs within Switzerland and setup requirements (space, power, water) are not stated.
  • Language. The site is published in German. It does not state whether bookings run in English, though the page does carry one English-language review. A couple should write in English and ask.
  • Booking terms. Lead time, deposit and cancellation are not on the homepage; the site links to its general terms (AGB) separately.

Who it suits

Drinkery suits couples for whom the bar is part of the experience: a long aperitif after the ceremony, an evening where guests are expected to try the cocktails, or a large reception where the prebatch approach keeps service moving. The published guest range means it can be approached for a small wedding of 20 or a large one of several hundred. The business is based in Kreuzlingen, and the site says it works anywhere in the country; travel costs for a venue far from its base are a question for the quote.

The caveats are the missing base price and the lack of wedding-specific detail on the page; a couple has to request a quote to learn the real total and the size of team. It is also a less natural fit for a venue whose in-house bar team is already included in the package. For couples who want to know roughly how the pricing steps work before they write, though, the published package structure and the named Basic, Premium and Deluxe contents give a clear starting point for that first email.
