Bellermusic is the DJ and event-technology business of Fabian Beller in Cortaillod, in the canton of Neuchâtel. The homepage sums up the offer in its header: DJ, sound, lighting and event equipment, for weddings, company evenings, ceremonies and live shows, "de A à Z" (from A to Z). Beller introduces himself as a DJ with more than 10 years of passion behind the decks, and the site describes a music library of more than 10'000 tracks covering pop, house, funk, disco, R&B, hip-hop, rock, Latin, French chanson ("variété française"), background music and new releases.

The site also publishes its prices, which lets a couple planning from abroad budget for the music before writing a single email.

More than a DJ set

The homepage's section headed "Bien plus qu’un DJ" (much more than a DJ) makes the point that Bellermusic handles the technical side of an event, not only the dance floor: professional sound, microphones, music, lighting, event equipment and installation, each planned for the venue and occasion. It closes with a line that suits a couple wanting fewer suppliers: "Un seul interlocuteur, une prestation complète" (one contact person, one complete service).

His April 2026 article on weddings in Neuchâtel spells out what that means across a wedding day:

  • The ceremony. Sound for the voices, music for the entrances and exits, wireless microphones, and technical tests in advance. The site mentions secular ceremonies ("cérémonie laïque") specifically, where the officiant, family members and friends speak.
  • Live musicians. If the couple books a singer or band, he supports them technically.
  • Games and key moments. Music cues, announcements where needed, timing with the witnesses or the planner, and suitable background sound for each moment.
  • The DJ set. A mix built around the couple's taste, the guests and the atmosphere they want, whether festive, elegant or all-out, with the key moments such as the opening dance and any surprises planned ahead.

The February 2026 article adds that the light show is scripted and programmed, using a wide choice of equipment, to transform the room to the couple's theme and wishes.

The published prices

The rates page says plainly that its prices are indicative, a first idea of the budget, and that the final price depends on duration, place, equipment and the services wanted. Every package includes travel within the canton of Neuchâtel; beyond it, travel is "à convenir" (to be agreed).

  • Platinium, CHF 1690. The "sans compromis" package, with a full visual show including 4 spark machines and heavy fog. It runs to the end of the night for up to 250 people and includes background music during the meal, technical support for games, songs and instruments, a custom mix, an advanced 3-way sound system, a wireless microphone and a vocal microphone, sound and light control, a white Lycra DJ stand, 4 moving heads on a totem, LED neons, 2 LED bars with ambient uplighting of the room's walls and beams, and a haze machine for the light show.
  • Or (Gold), CHF 1300. Also to the end of the night for up to 250 people, with background music during the meal and support for games, a custom mix, the same 3-way sound system, wireless microphone, Lycra stand, 2 moving heads on a totem, a vintage blinder, LED neons, 2 LED bars with ambient room lighting, and a smoke machine.
  • Argent (Silver), CHF 900. For up to 60 people, with background music during the meal, technical support, a custom mix, sound, a wireless microphone, varied light effects and a smoke machine.
  • Receptions, cocktails and ceremonies, CHF 490. For up to 3–4 hours, with music, sound (wireless possible) and handheld and presenter microphones for speeches.

The options are also priced:

  • a second sound system for a cocktail or lounge area, inside or outside, CHF 150;
  • a second sound system for a cocktail and a ceremony, with microphones and coordination of the music with the officiant, CHF 250;
  • 4 cold-spark machines, which the page recommends for the opening of the dance floor at a wedding, CHF 250;
  • a heavy-fog machine that keeps the fog at floor level like a floating cloud, CHF 120;
  • a laser show, CHF 200.

Separately, sound and lighting control for concerts and shows of up to 400 people is quoted on request.

Why the price is what it is

The rates page includes an unusually frank section answering the question of why a DJ costs so much for a few hours. It lists what sits behind the evening: several thousand francs of equipment carried to each job and regularly replaced, a vehicle and sometimes a trailer, hours of loading, setup, testing and dismantling, preparation with the organizers, backup equipment and alternative solutions in case of a technical problem, storage, insurance and liability cover, and the office work around it. For a couple comparing suppliers, the mention of backup equipment is worth noting.

Weddings on the site

The site's news section includes a post from September 2024 on a wedding at the Hôtel DuPeyrou, with a short note from the groom, Alexandre: "Tout était parfait et nous avons eu de très bons échos, bravo !" (everything was perfect and we had very good feedback). Other posts show a birthday, end-of-year parties and sound and light work for events and concerts.

Contact

The contact details are 2016 Cortaillod, +41 78 405 54 59 and info@bellermusic.ch, and the site has a contact form. The site also carries a newsletter sign-up.

What the site leaves open

  • Language. The site is published only in French and says nothing about working in English. For a ceremony with an English-speaking officiant or guests, that should be the first question.
  • Travel outside Neuchâtel. Travel beyond the canton is to be agreed, with no rate given.
  • Contract and deposit. The booking terms are not published.
  • Hours for the evening packages. Platinium and Or run "jusqu'au bout de la nuit" (to the end of the night); the site does not say whether that has a fixed limit.

Who it suits

Bellermusic suits couples marrying in the canton of Neuchâtel who want one person to handle the ceremony sound, the speeches, the lighting and the dance floor, and who like knowing a price range before they write. The ceremony-plus-cocktail option and the attention to secular ceremonies make it a practical choice for a wedding where the ceremony takes place at the venue rather than in a church or registry office.

It is a less obvious fit for a couple who need everything in English, or who are marrying far from Neuchâtel, where travel has to be negotiated. The Silver package's 60-guest limit also means larger weddings start at the Gold price.
