Esprit Quartett is a Zurich string quartet of first violin, second violin, viola and cello, founded and led by cellist Chloë Kascha. For smaller ceremonies the group also plays as a trio or a duo. The repertoire runs from classical and romantic chamber music into tango, jazz and pop, with arrangements of Bach, Brahms, Chopin and Pachelbel sitting next to Coldplay and the Beatles, and several pieces can be performed with a vocalist.
The quartet plays both church and civil ceremonies and stays on for receptions, and they also cover gala dinners, Christmas parties and private concerts. They travel throughout Switzerland from their Zurich base. The website is available in German, English and French.
