Flavia Zucca Music

Tap a star to rate

Flavia Zucca Music is the business of Flavia Zucca, a singer and DJane ("Sängerin & DJane") who plays weddings, company events, birthdays, christenings and funerals. Her German-language site sums up the offer in one line: she accompanies an event, a ceremony or a wedding "von Live bis DJ", from live singing to DJ sets, with a mix of live music and party music meant to give every guest something. The address on the site is Gellerstrasse 37 in Beringen, and the page title names St. Gallen, Aargau, Basel and Zurich as places she plays weddings.

A singer who is also the DJ

The unusual part of her offer is that one person covers both roles. For weddings, the site lists "Trauung I Apéro I Hochzeits-DJane I Live-Musik I Kombiangebot": the ceremony, the aperitif, the wedding DJane, live music and a combined offer. In practice that lets a couple book her to sing at the ceremony, perform live during the aperitif and dinner, and then run the dance floor as DJ later in the night, without handing over to another supplier between stages.

The reviews on the home page show how that works on the day. Sonja Prakash booked Flavia and Martin for the ceremony, the aperitif and DJ service. Luca A. booked her for the ceremony and for the evening party, and writes that the playlist was built to the couple's wishes. Pascale Matter describes Flavia and her partner framing a celebration from the aperitif through the meal into the early hours, with Flavia coming to the tables, sitting down and singing "auf italiano, französisch, spanisch und englisch" (in Italian, French, Spanish and English) while guests chose songs and sang along.

Languages

The languages section on the home page lists "Schwyzerdütsch, Deutsch, Englisch, Italienisch, Spanisch und Französisch": Swiss German, German, English, Italian, Spanish and French. For an international wedding this is the most useful single fact on the site. It means the ceremony songs can match the couple's languages, and it means planning can happen in English. Fredy Hiltmann's review notes that she was multilingual and sang in Italian in particular for his family.

Musicians, sound and light

Several reviews mention the musicians she brings. Martin plays guitar with her; Marcel Meyer writes that Martin, playing several guitars, can rock the party with a virtuoso solo, and Andrea Dangel credits him with beautiful guitar playing. Fredy Hiltmann mentions an "einfühlsamer Pianist Emanuele" (a sensitive pianist, Emanuele). So a live booking can be a duo rather than a solo act, and couples should ask which line-up their offer includes.

On production, the site promises "Hochwertigste Soundtechnik" (top-quality sound equipment), a light show and ground fog for a wow effect. Andrea Dangel's review confirms professional equipment with colored lights and fog, and that Flavia handles it all herself.

A long evening, in one review

The most detailed review describes a 50th birthday rather than a wedding, but it shows the format clearly. Flavia and Martin played discreet live music at the aperitif in a castle garden. Between courses they went from table to table in the hall playing a "Live-Jukebox", with each table choosing songs on the spot, and the reviewer notes that the volume was right for the table while conversation stayed possible at the others. After midnight Flavia switched to DJ and the guests danced. The party ran from 18:00 to 1:00, and the reviewer's father (77) enjoyed her Andreas Gabalier while her daughter (16) got a favorite song too.

Wedding reviews

Antonio Costanzo writes that they had planned to handle the music themselves before finding Flavia, who contacted them personally and advised them well enough that they booked her. He says she took time several times before the wedding to go through their wishes, was punctual and highly professional on the day while staying "unaufdringlich" (unobtrusive), and fitted in as if she were part of the family. Mike Michael writes that she organized everything perfectly and easily and responded to all their wishes. Marcel Meyer booked her first for a wedding and then for a birthday, and writes that she reaches the audience in a very empathetic way as well as with her voice, with a repertoire he calls inexhaustible. Pascale Matter adds that she always knew the words and that her cheerful, natural manner won over young and old. Shorter reviews from Patrick Meier and R Giacopuzzi praise her voice, her personality and a huge repertoire at a high musical level. In the birthday review, Andrea Dangel notes that Flavia even won over her father and brothers, all three hard to please and with very different tastes, which is the situation many couples face with their own families.

Scale and other work

The site says she plays at 100 large and small events a year and describes her as a present, reliable and uncomplicated partner. Beyond weddings she covers company events, aperitifs, dinners, parties, birthdays, graduation ceremonies, openings, anniversaries, galas and balls, and she sings at christenings and at funerals. The menu also lists pages for sound, an agenda, references and a guestbook.

What the site does not settle

The site publishes no prices, no packages and no terms for deposits or cancellation. It does not say what the combined wedding offer costs compared with booking only the ceremony or only the DJ part, or when a second musician is included. It does not state how far she travels, beyond the places named in the page title, or whether travel is charged. It gives no repertoire list, though the reviews describe a very broad one.

Contact is by the form on the site, by email at info@flaviazucca.ch, by WhatsApp or by phone on +41 76 392 51 90. WhatsApp is the easy route for a couple planning from abroad.

Who it suits

Flavia Zucca suits couples in German-speaking Switzerland who want one performer for the whole day: a singer for the ceremony and the aperitif, table-side live music during dinner, and a DJ set for the party. Her six languages make her an obvious fit for Italian, Spanish, French or English-speaking families marrying in Switzerland. Couples who want a large band sound or a specialist club DJ will find the format more intimate than that. The caveats are the German-only site and the lack of any published price.
