Cocon Genève
Tap a star to rate
Cocon Genève is a hair and beauty salon at Chemin du Vieux-Vésenaz 26 in Vésenaz, in the canton of Geneva, open since 2019. Under one roof it offers hairdressing (cuts, color and balayage, straightening, extensions and hair treatments) and a beauty side with facials, lash and brow treatments, hands and feet, waxing, makeup, massage and a head spa. For a wedding, the useful part is that the salon publishes its prices: a "Forfait mariage avec essai", a wedding package with a trial, costs 150 francs, and an updo (chignon) starts at 100 francs. The site is in French.
Wedding makeup
The makeup page lists four prices: day makeup at 65 francs, evening makeup at 95 francs, a makeup lesson (cours de make-up) at 195 francs, and the wedding package with trial at 150 francs. The FAQ on the same page says a makeup session usually takes 45 minutes to 1h30, and that event or wedding makeup takes 1h to 1h30; the salon gives an estimate when you book.
The page describes the approach in its own words. The makeup estheticians, it says, do not try to transform your face but to enhance it, creating a look that suits you. The makeup artists work on skin preparation, correcting imperfections, light and shade, and harmonizing colors. The salon states that it uses only professional-quality, hypoallergenic, long-lasting products, and that each makeup is applied for a flawless result and optimal hold throughout your event; that is the salon's description of its products, not a guarantee for every skin. It adds that it can show you how to reproduce the look at home, with product and technique recommendations.
On durability, the FAQ asks whether the makeup will last all day or all evening, and answers yes, with the right products and techniques: the team applies a setting base and uses long-wearing products, and gives advice on keeping the makeup in place during the event. For choosing colors, it describes a consultation that analyzes your complexion and coloring.
The price list itself does not say what the wedding package includes beyond the trial. The page's FAQ mentions that the salon offers packages for brides and special events.
Hair for the wedding
On the hairdressing side, the price list shows an updo (chignon) from 100 francs, a tie-back or braid (attache et tresse) from 40 francs, a blow-dry from 55 francs, and a women's cut and blow-dry from 99 francs. Color starts at 95 francs for roots and 120 francs for balayage and highlights, and extensions and straightening are priced on quote. The salon presents itself as a specialist in Brazilian straightening and texture techniques, and says it fits tape or keratin extensions for extra length and volume. The hair treatments list includes Filler Therapy Nashi at 70 francs, K20 at 60 francs and hair botox from 200 francs.
The hair FAQ names the brands the salon works with: Authentic Beauty Concept, Nashi, Redken and Color Wow.
Before the wedding
The beauty side offers several treatments a bride might book in the weeks before. The Proskin 30 facial by Dermalogica costs 79 francs and the Proskin 60 costs 148 francs. A lash lift costs 120 francs, a brow lift 100 francs, or both together 200 francs; lash extensions are priced on quote. A manicure starts at 40 francs, a full gel set costs 150 francs and a pedicure starts at 75 francs. Waxing starts at 19 francs for the lip, and legs start at 43 francs. Massages include an intuitive massage from 60 francs, RENATA lymphatic drainage at 160 francs, and Lomi Lomi, Balinese and prenatal massages at 130 francs each. The Head Spa discovery ritual costs 120 francs.
Groups and quotes
The FAQ on the price page answers two questions a wedding party will ask. Yes, the salon offers specialized services for groups, weddings and corporate events, and you should contact them to discuss your project. And yes, you can get a free, precise quote before booking, by phone or email. There is no published group price.
The team
The team page lists ten people: Dragana, co-director and colorist; colorists Carole and Julie; stylists Mehdi, Thomas, Florian, Goran and Swan; and Delphine and Mélanie, estheticians and manicurists. The page says the team is made up of hairdressers, estheticians and masseurs who are trained regularly in new techniques.
Getting there and booking
The contact page gives unusually clear directions. By car, the salon is directly opposite the Manor store in Vésenaz, with the Manor car park a minute's walk away and the Parking des Rayes two minutes away. By public transport, buses G or E run from Genève-Rive to the stop Vésenaz Village, a three-minute walk from the salon.
Opening hours are Tuesday to Friday from 09:00 to 19:00 and Saturday from 09:00 to 17:00; the salon is closed on Sunday and Monday. The hair FAQ says online booking is available around the clock, with confirmation by email and SMS. The phone number is +41 22 772 14 14 and the email address hello@cocon-geneve.ch.
The about page adds a note on values and the environment: the salon says it favors brands with natural, sustainable ingredients, recycles its packaging and has cut hair collected and recycled by a specialized partner.
What the site does not settle
The site does not say whether the team does makeup or hair at a hotel, home or venue, or whether it works only in the salon. It does not list the languages spoken, and the site is published in French only. It does not say what the wedding package includes beyond the trial, how long before the wedding the trial should be, or what a group of bridesmaids would pay. It gives no deposit or cancellation terms for weddings, and the Saturday closing time of 17:00 is worth keeping in mind if the wedding is on a Saturday and the trial or styling needs to fit around it.
Who it suits
Cocon Genève suits a couple marrying in or around Geneva who want hair and makeup from one salon, with published prices to plan around and a team large enough to take a group. The trial included in the 150-franc wedding package, the updo from 100 francs, and the clear directions by car and by bus make it practical for a bride staying in the area.
The caveats are the French-only site, the lack of any statement about working on location, and the absence of group prices. A couple from abroad should ask about all three when requesting the free quote the salon offers.
