A Cosmetics Studio in Lucerne With Bridal Packages
Petriani Kosmetik is the cosmetics studio of Ani Dürsteler in Lucerne. She describes herself as a beauty adviser, a diploma cosmetician and a makeup artist ("Visagistin/Make-up Artist"). The studio page says it is near the Verkehrshaus der Schweiz (the Swiss Museum of Transport) and the Lido, a few minutes' walk from the lakeside promenade. Alongside facials, massage and other treatments, the studio offers bridal makeup in three packages with published prices, each combining a trial in the studio with makeup on the wedding day at the bride's chosen location.
The site is in German. The about page lists the languages she speaks: "Ich spreche Deutsch, Italienisch, Russisch, Serbisch und Bulgarisch" (I speak German, Italian, Russian, Serbian and Bulgarian). English is not on that list, which a couple from abroad should know before writing; a bride who speaks Italian or Russian, on the other hand, can deal with her directly in that language.
How the Bridal Service Works
The wedding page opens with a line from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry about love meaning looking in the same direction together, and then gets practical: a wedding confronts a woman with many decisions, and how she wears her makeup as a bride deserves thought, since she is at the center of the day and will remember it. Each package on the page is headed by a short quotation, from Giorgio Armani and Coco Chanel among others.
The wedding page explains the sequence. The trial for hair and makeup ("Probetag für Haare und Make-up") should take place three to four weeks before the wedding. On the trial day she does the makeup in her studio; on the wedding day she comes "selbstverständlich" (as a matter of course) to the bride's home, hotel or another place of the bride's choice, and the makeup takes one to two hours. After the trial, she photographs the result so that the makeup on the wedding day matches it exactly.
The page mentions hair in the trial but lists only makeup in the packages, so a bride should ask whether hairstyling is part of the service or whether she needs a separate hairdresser.
The Three Packages
Each package includes a consultation, one trial in the studio lasting up to two hours, a lipstick of the bride's choice from Arabesque or Malu Wilz, and on-site makeup on the wedding day in the Lucerne region with a CHF 100 surcharge ("Region Luzern, Zuschlag CHF 100").
- Paket Silber (Silver): CHF 190. Consultation, trial, lipstick and on-site makeup.
- Paket Gold: CHF 310. Everything in Silver, plus one facial treatment matched to the skin's needs, about four weeks before the wedding.
- Paket Diamant (Diamond): CHF 410. Everything in Silver, plus two facial treatments matched to the skin's needs, an ampoule course from Dalton Cosmetics to use at home, and a lash serum course for home use valued at CHF 60.
The surcharge line is the one to read carefully. As written, on-site makeup is offered for the Lucerne region and carries a CHF 100 surcharge on top of the package price. The page does not say whether a venue outside the Lucerne region is possible, or at what cost.
For guests, the page offers long-lasting makeup suited to each person for the wedding celebration at CHF 90 per guest. Whether guests are made up at the same location as the bride on the wedding morning is not stated.
The Gold and Diamond packages suit a bride who lives in or near Lucerne, since the facials take place around four weeks before the wedding in the studio. For a bride flying in, the Silver package with a trial on an earlier visit is the more realistic option.
Background and Recognition
The about page says she trained as a makeup artist in 2010 and in 2020 completed her diploma as a cosmetician at the Kosmetikschule Dickerhof in Emmenbrücke, which she calls renowned. She describes regular further training as a matter of course, and names her specialties as Balinese facial massage, the Chi energy massage of Malu Wilz, and Tibetan Marma facial massage.
The same page reports that the trade magazine BEAUTY FORUM named Petriani Kosmetik its "Institut des Monats" (institute of the month) in November 2024, under the headline "Klein, aber absolut oho!" (small, but absolutely impressive). She writes that she built the studio as a place centered on relaxation, quality and individuality, and that each treatment is planned with care and time to spare.
The Rest of the Studio
The treatment menu lists classical facials, wellness facials, DALTON SkinFusion, microdermabrasion, eye and lash treatments, cosmetics for men, day and evening makeup, makeup courses, hand care, massage, hair removal and gift vouchers. For a bride who lives locally, this makes it possible to combine the wedding makeup with facials and lash or brow treatments in the weeks before, as the Gold and Diamond packages already do. For the groom, the menu lists cosmetics for men, although no wedding grooming service is named.
Booking and Contact
The studio page invites clients to book by phone or online. The number on every page is +41 78 732 22 51, and there are links for email and online booking ("Termin buchen"). No street address appears on the pages, only the location near the Verkehrshaus and the Lido.
What the Site Leaves Open
- English: not among the languages she lists.
- Venues outside the Lucerne region: not addressed.
- Hair: mentioned for the trial, but not listed in the packages.
- Lead time: the trial timing is given, but not how far ahead to book the wedding date.
- Deposit and cancellation: not stated.
- Address and parking: the pages describe the area but give no street address.
Who It Suits
Petriani Kosmetik suits a bride marrying in the Lucerne region who wants a trained cosmetician for her makeup, a studio trial with photos, and the option of pre-wedding facials in one package. The published package prices, the per-guest rate and the stated trial window make budgeting simple. The caveats for a couple from abroad are the German-only site, the absence of English among her stated languages, a trial three to four weeks before the wedding in Lucerne, and the lack of any statement about venues beyond the Lucerne region.
