Mobile Cocktail Lab & The Barista Lab
Tap a star to rate
Mobile Cocktail Lab & The Barista Lab is a bartending and coffee service run by Christos Panagis, who serves cocktails, specialty coffee or both from a classic Land Rover Defender converted into a coffee and cocktail truck. The site lists the wedding aperitif (Hochzeits Apero) first among its event services, followed by birthday events and company events, and it says the business travels all over Switzerland with no minimum or maximum number of guests. It also runs a coffee stand in Tuggen and sells its own coffee beans.
The offer for weddings
The site's pitch is written in English, in Christos's own voice: "My Name Is Christos And Let Me Introduce You To The Coffee & Cocktails World." It says the business was established in 2016 and that its bartending and coffee services come with 25 years of experience in those 2 fields, adding "But Most Of All I Love What I Do".
For events, the statement that matters most to a couple is this: "For Our Services There Is No Minimum Or Maximum Amount Of Guests And No Traveling Range. We Are Driving All Over Switzerland." A small wedding in the mountains and a large one near Zurich are both within what the site describes. The format is agreed with the client: coffee, cocktails or both, in the site's words "Your Wishes Is Our Passion Just Email Us".
For a wedding aperitif, the coffee side is a real point of difference. Guests arriving from a ceremony can choose between a cocktail and a specialty coffee, and the coffee option suits a morning or early afternoon ceremony, or a cooler day.
The truck
The vehicle is described as "A Rare Classic Land Rover Defender 110 LXV", driven all over Switzerland under the motto "One Life Live It". A classic off-road vehicle serving drinks is a strong visual element at a wedding, especially outdoors or at a farm or countryside venue, and it gives the aperitif a focal point. The site lists among its partners Swiss Adventure Tech, a specialist workshop for off-road and expedition vehicles including Land Rover.
Coffee, drinks and the shop
The business sells its own products through an order form on the site. The shop lists coffee beans as Ruth Finest Coffee Blend at CHF 12 for 250 g and 110 Leaking Gold Specialty Coffee at CHF 14 for 250 g, an organic Swiss oat drink from Gutsch, Erlkönig syrup (described by its maker as a power elixir from the coffee fruit, cascara, organic, vegan and handmade in Switzerland) at CHF 17 for 350 ml, and Leaking Gold Gin, a dry gin by Rosy's, at CHF 60 for 500 ml. It also sells a set with the ARAM espresso maker, which the site says works entirely without electricity, for CHF 690. Orders ship by post, free from CHF 200, or can be collected at the Tuggen stand.
These are shop prices for products, not prices for event service, but they show what the bar works with: its own coffee blends, a cascara syrup and a gin under the Leaking Gold name.
Among the partners, Coffee Architects describes itself on the page as "ein One-Stop-Shop für Kaffee" (a one-stop shop for coffee), offering a full service from production to service, bar architecture and packaging. The other partners listed are Kialoa GmbH, Holmes Place premium fitness clubs, Erlkönig Cascara, a window maker and a graphic design studio, deine setzerei, whose listed services include bar menus, menus and wedding and thank-you cards. That is a partner listing rather than a service of the bar itself, but a couple who wants a printed bar menu to match the invitations has a name to ask about.
The ARAM espresso maker in the shop is described as handmade in Brazil in a fine wood casing, usable both portably and in a fixed place. The gin is 40 degrees, and the business says it is a member of Gutsch, the oat drink producer.
Where to find the stands
The Tuggen stand opens once a month on a Saturday, 07:30 to 12:00, on the Tuluxplatz in 8856 Tuggen SZ, by the roundabout; the site points to Facebook and Instagram for current dates. A new location at BrewTender, Renggerstrasse 60, 8038 Wollishofen in Zurich is listed with opening hours still to come. The stand at Gotthardstrasse 16b in Thalwil, at the station footbridge, is temporarily closed until the end of 2026 and due to reopen from 2027. Visiting one of the stands is a way for a couple in the Zurich area to taste the coffee before booking.
Booking and contact
Booking is by email to mobilecocktaillab.ch@gmail.com or by phone on 079 677 24 02, both in Christos's name. There is no event booking form; the site asks clients to get in touch and arrange the details together.
What the site does not settle
The site publishes no prices for event service, and no packages. It does not describe the cocktail menu, how many people serve at an event, how long a service lasts, or what is included, such as glassware and ice. It does not say whether travel to a distant venue is charged, despite the promise of no traveling range. It gives no booking lead time.
The main text is in English and the shop and opening hours are in German. The English pitch is a helpful sign for couples from abroad, but the site does not say explicitly which languages the service is offered in, so it is worth confirming.
Who it suits
Mobile Cocktail Lab & The Barista Lab suits couples who want a relaxed, characterful aperitif with both coffee and cocktails, served from a vintage vehicle, and who like dealing directly with the owner. The absence of a guest minimum makes it a good option for a small wedding, and the stated reach across Switzerland covers remote venues.
It is a small, owner-led business, so couples with a large guest list should discuss staffing and service speed. The truck needs a place it can drive to and park, which is worth checking with the venue. With no published event prices, the conversation starts with an email.
