Bliss & Bloom is the wedding-planning business of Viviane Messerli, with an address at Guggisbergstrasse 160 in Schwarzenburg. Its home page introduces her as "Eure Hochzeitsplanerin im Kanton Bern" (your wedding planner in the canton of Bern), and the canton is the deliberate focus of the business. The support she offers is named on the page: "Komplettplanung, Teilplanung oder Wedding Day Management" (full planning, partial planning or wedding day management).
The tone of the business
The home page sets out what kind of wedding she wants to help with, in short lines: a wedding that may be light, "Nicht laut. Nicht überladen. Nicht wie bei allen anderen." (not loud, not overloaded, not like everyone else's), but honest, well thought through and true to the couple. She writes that she accompanies couples with sensitivity, clarity and a sure eye for what matters, so that countless decisions become a clear path and the engagement becomes a time of anticipation.
She describes her approach as structure instead of stress, feeling instead of to-do lists, and calm instead of uncertainty. Her target couples are those who give a lot in everyday life, at work and to each other, and who want their wedding to be a moment rather than one more project.
Experience
Under the heading "Erfahrung, die Ruhe schafft" (experience that creates calm), she lists her background: more than eight years of experience in marketing and in planning corporate events, a CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) in event management, and certified training as a wedding planner. The site does not say how many weddings she has planned so far.
How the work starts
The FAQ describes the first meeting. The first conversation is free ("kostenloses Erstgespräch") and non-binding. The couple and planner get to know each other, talk about wishes, ideas and expectations, and she explains how she works and what options there are for the wedding. Afterward the couple receives an individual offer. The FAQ is clear that this offer is transparent: after the first talk, the couple knows exactly which services they get, without hidden costs.
On the chemistry question, the FAQ answers simply: "Chemie ist alles" (chemistry is everything). If the sparks fly after the first meeting, the planning begins together.
What the FAQ says about cost and budget
The site does not publish prices. The FAQ says costs depend on the scope, effort and kind of support, and that the individual offer after the first talk is tailored to the couple. To the question whether a planner is too expensive, she answers that a planner is an investment in calm and structure, and that she works transparently and adapts her offer to the couple's budget.
A further question addresses couples who do not yet know what budget is realistic. She calls this completely normal, notes that without event or wedding experience it is hard to judge what individual decisions may cost, and says she helps couples set priorities and develops a realistic budget structure with them.
The FAQ also gives her estimate of the time involved: on average, couples spend around 10 hours a week organizing their wedding during the planning phase, and with an experienced planner this often drops to about 2 hours a week, because research, coordination and communication with suppliers are handled for them.
Suppliers and style
Couples are not tied to particular suppliers. The FAQ says she works with a growing, carefully maintained network of local partners she can recommend from experience, and that couples are completely free to choose their own. On style, she writes that the couple's vision and personality always come first; she develops made-to-measure concepts that take up the couple's ideas and refine them, and brings experience, creative input and regional expertise so that everything runs smoothly, while the wedding stays the couple's own.
Timing and region
The FAQ recommends starting early. Many couples begin 12 to 18 months before the wedding, and in the main season from May to September, popular venues and suppliers are often booked early. Short-notice weddings can still be organized calmly with good structure, the page says.
On region, the focus is deliberately on weddings in the canton of Bern, so that she can use her regional experience, network and feel for places and schedules. Couples planning nearby, for example in the canton of Solothurn or the German-speaking part of the canton of Fribourg, are invited to get in touch, and she looks individually at what is possible.

What the site does not settle
The site does not publish prices, package contents or the hours included in wedding day management. It does not show past weddings or reviews from couples. It is written in German and does not say whether she works in English or French, so an international couple should ask in the first message. It does not say whether the first meeting can take place by video, which matters for couples living abroad.
Questions worth asking
Because the offer is built after the first talk, a couple should come to it with the basics ready: the date or season, the rough guest count, the region within the canton, and whether they want full planning, help with part of it, or only someone to run the day. It is also worth asking what wedding day management covers in hours on the day, how many planning meetings full planning includes, and which of her local partners she would suggest for a venue in the Bernese countryside versus the city.
Who it suits
Bliss & Bloom suits couples marrying in the canton of Bern, or close to it in Solothurn or German-speaking Fribourg, who want a calm, structured planner and a wedding that feels personal rather than showy. The free first talk and the promise of a transparent offer suit couples who are unsure whether they need a planner at all. Couples planning outside that region, or who need English confirmed before contact, will have to ask.
